True, the Duke and Rebecca duel was meh,, I think they had zero chance of winning, I love how Valon swept them, he lost no LP and he also refused to use the Seal as he deemed their souls not worth it as in the dub he said don't flatter yourselves you 2 aren't worth the seals time
I love the ygotas episode of this because i went back and watched this duel and it was spot on Tristan was the worst cheerleader lmao, every 5 seconds he was trashing Joey while reminding the audience that if Joey loses he’ll lose his soul
This always made me wonder if Gearfried's village was destroyed by something or someone and after getting revenge he swore to never use a sword after the countless brutalities he committed on his quest for revenge.
Only thing is his backstory describes him as being terrifyingly powerful, yet his attack points don't even go over 3000. You'd figure a monster whose whole lore is based around being the most powerful swordsman alive, he'd have more attk points and a bit more powerful affect.
@@thefanwithoutaface8105true however he might still be holding back without his true blade which he probably got rid of for his iron armor my theory his blade was that of a piece of the winged dragon of ra and if Joey would’ve won he probably would’ve made the winged dragon of ra sword aka the monsters true blade
@@treymykel No way; if anything they help keep them alive, especially when the serialization is ended or on hiatus. I can't tell you how many times I've been watching an abridged series only to go back and watch the original fight/scene right after.
If we are being fair, Rex’s opening hand and draws were actually cracked. If you look past the gamble cards, every character in this anime is oddly lucky to always just draw a useful card.
@@Ninguin Well every villain top decks Seal of Orichalcos. I mean what IF the one copy of it was at the bottom of the 60 card deck? (In the anime they typically use the full 60 cards even though we only ever see like 20 cards at most, probably 3 ofs for most of them). I guess maybe it's the innate "skill" the anime characters have to make up for using half the life points and the lore that binds them to the decks they play. Still doesn't compare to Zane drawing the same 11 cards in ALL of his duels first hands, including consistently getting at least 2 copies of Cyber dragon in first draw, while actual Cyber dragon players have to contend with using the proto versions and german number versions to simulate Cyber dragon and are lucky to get 2 of them during the entire duel.Top deck shenanigans....
Can we focus on the fact that two scapegoat was actually scared of dying. The yellow one was cut in half cried and the pink one was scared when giant Rex stomped on it.
@@AllyOJustice I miss the days when in GX the monsters had personalities and talked. I know some people joke about the cringe voices some of them had, but it added so much charm to see the monsters duel as themselves. I always get a rise when Yubel says "I Summon MYSELF!" in Duel links, as she and Tour guide are the only monsters that duel and are voiced, though I think in some duels Tour Guide will mention summoning herself. you can't play as her sadly.
Honestly I just love the way you recap duels. The way the anime drags things out and hides hands from the viewer makes following strategy hard, you break things down easily. Thanks!
Fun fact: when Joey activated pot of greed, he had 30 cards in his deck (presuming he played the minimum deck size which is 40 and he drawed 10 cards over the duration of the duel) the chances of Joey drawing the two exact cards he needed to win the duel is (1/30)*(1/29)= 0.00115 or 0.115 % odds which is quite insane odds given Joey is the luckiest duelist alive. Sure there could an argument made that there could potentially draw other cards in his deck that could deal with Tyrant Dragon like Spider Roulette but it may not be the card that could net Joey the duel this turn which would result in a prolonged duel where Joey could lose on his next turn.
"is Tyrant Dragon Rex's new Red Eyes?" In short, yeah. Rex has always had a Dragon as his boss monster, Red Eyes, Serpent Night Dragon or Tyrant Dragon. Rex's deck shares a philosophy with the Evol archetype(and i think Transcendsaurus? Or the other dino archetype that came out around the same time) that Dragons are the evolved state of Dinosaurs. Thats why it wasn't until Hasselberry that we got an actual Dinosaur boss monster.
trancendsaurus cards are evolutions of old dinosaurs most of which didnt release in tcg till years later like megazowler. hassleberry's dinosaurs had the evolution gimmick so they made it the type's theme. evolution pill spells and later on trancendosaurs. and ofc after pills and before trancend we had evols but they didnt play the pills
Plus, he lost his Serpent Night Dragon back in Battle City. I didn't think that in the Waking the Dragons arc, we'd see Rex with a Tyrant Dragon, of all cards to add as his "replacement" dragon there.
Well in Season 5 World Championship Rex used Black Tyranno as his boss monster. Only for a short while though, because it and Insect Queen got wasted by Ziegfrieds Valkyries.
He didn't die. He just lost his soul. And as Pegasus demonstrated with Mokuba, without a soul a person is still alive, but they function like a zombie. So, still a fun duel.
@@TGSAnimeHey man, long time fan of the series. I humbly request you do a video of Yugi’s duel with Gansley. The virtual world arc is one of my favorite as I love the idea of a Deck Master System.
@@roggie839 Setting a monster still counts as summoning a monster. Scapegoat prevents you from summoning any other monsters by any means the turn you activate its effect.
16:48 if you think about it Joey is even luckier in this situation because he needed to top deck exactly pot of greed first and then top deck hermos and release restraint.
What I love about this duel is that is shows the current difference between Joey and Atem. While still on the defensive, you got the sense that Joey wasn't....struggling in this duel. Meanwhile Atem who is dealing with the loss of Yugi and Weevil's Mindgames, is on the backfoot the entire game until pretty much the last moment.
@@tomato2517Only reason Joey lost in the Doma Arc was because Mai immediately dueled Joey after he almost died dueling Valon. Joey had a much harder time dueling Dartz's servant than Kaiba did but Kaiba got to make it to fighting Dartz at the end because Allister was the weakest servant.
I, to this day, still get a chuckle from Rex commenting on Joey starting his Gearfried fairy tale with the phrase "What are you, Mother Goose?!". To me, that's what I remember most from this Duel.
I personally really like the lore Joey gave about Gearfried. It has that tragic hero feel to it and something I think an episode of a YGO lore anime (should one come by Konami’s new animation studio) would be cool to see.
My favourite part is, after that, when he summons Gearfried the Swordmaster, Rex laughs because it's too weak...and then Joey pulls Hermos on him. And the music abruptly stops.
Celebration of Creation would be super OP in today’s meta given how many card effects that special summon monsters. Literally, you activate an effect to special summon a monster from their hand, activate Celebration of Creation, turn end. Quite a troll card.😂
Yea, needless to say, it would be banned on the spot. Perhaps it could be interesting if it had the condition of a monster being summoned by your opponent to your side of the field. Happens often enough, but would allow to play around it.
Rex deserved better than what he got. He's not a villain, but a duelist who hit a low point in his career. For whatever reason, he chose to associate with Weevil, which is absolutely his biggest mistake.
THANK YOU! I really dislike how much the show sh8ts on Rex. I mean yeah he's arrogant, but he didn't really ever do anything to DESERVE being treated like a dirty duelist like Weavil did. He was a former champion and his dinosaurs are realy cool. Plus I love his design as well, really fits for someone who uses dinos. At least his two headed King rex got some upgrades recently. Hopefully they appear in Duel Links to buff Rex's deck. Says a lot that Weavil has legit strategies that can be used in modern times but Rex...aside from having TWO other Dino users that outclass him, has nothing (technically 3 if you count Gore's Dino wrestlers). Also a shame Rush Duel has some excellent Dinosaurs, but no Rex or user to capitalize on them. Forget the cards, Rex (and maybe Weavil) should've gotten a retrain in DSOD. I'd have liked to see them redeem themselves when they're older and genuinely earn the respect of the main protags. I mean Espa got a bit of a redemption (the game doesn't treat him as a villain) and Mako was never treated badly at all. So... what's down?
Espa was basically using the same gimmick as Mai (pretend psychic), just in a different way (sibling spies rather than scent marked cards). On top of that, much like Mai, he got caught out maybe halfway through the duel and then just played legit while still being a competent challenge, and was graceful in defeat so that earned him some goodwill back pretty immediately. Rex, on the other hand, started hanging out with Weavil which is basically reputational suicide.
It feels like that's because Weevil understood his pain. Weevil may be worst, but both are former champs and rivals turned losers. They feed off each other's bitterness. It's too bad the show wasn't willing to explore that and make Rex realize winning wasn't worth the descent. But him and Weevil got stuck as those two losers permanently. Which is stupid when you consider unlike the main three they have actual archetype decks.
@@byronsenior6499 It also felt like Weevil was taking advantage of Rex's naivety. He's not the smartest guy around, and Weevil used that. The dude's a scheming little punk. Rex deserved another chance. maybe a rematch with Joey for Red-Eyes, assuming Joey actually won it back from Yugi after Battle City, considering he had it throughout season 4
I like the claw of Hermes’ making red eyes (Rex’s former ace card) into an equip card that allowed Joey to win with Gearfield the sword master (not only in sheer points hit also his ability ot destroy a monster for every equip card equipped) Very iconic
I did like how when they finally brought Rex's Horned Saurus to the real game, they had to give it a very specific effect to let it play around the Seal of Orichalcos since that card was nerfed so bad. 🤣
Joey's at his prime in the Waking the Dragons arc, bro was always playing out of his mind in all the duels and not making dumb mistakes like in the early series, it really is so cool to watch
He’s my favorite to watch in this arc, he’s treated like a seasoned duelist narratively and plays like one It’s why i like this duel over the Yugi Weevil one - it’s satisfying to see Joey be the competent one and not really struggle
he must have gotten good sometime during the battle city arc considering he got red eyes back from yugi. he seems to not know how chains work during grand prix but he has a real combo in his deck with trunade and premature
Does anyone actually feel bad for Rex? He didn't seem so bad. He kept his word and gave joey red eyes when he lost. He gets cheated in battle city to espa roba, and despite it being revealed roba cheated, Rex still shafted. He even tried to warn Joey to stay away from roba. And while clowning on Joey, was still in his corner kinda. I feel like between him and weevil, Rex couldve gotten a redeeming moment.
Joey would've only drawn gear fried, even if he saved it for later, draw pot of greed, activate release restraint, he wouldn't have been able to use hermos for anything
True but in Rex's defense.... he was going for game and legitimately would've won if not for Joey's 1 in a million chance card. He could've had like Block attack or something but ending the turn if a monster is special summoned. HOW did he know Rex would do that? That game was Rex's.... XD. don't get me wrong, I'm impressed the way the card saved Joey, ut that's seriously one of those moments I'd have to pause for a minute and say "...wow... I just did that."
Joey could not have played Scapegoat and attacked with Panther Warrior; you cannot activate Scapegoat if you have summoned a monster (but you can set).
I'm honestly surprised that Rex didn't get another copy of Red-Eys Black Dragon to replace his original when he joined Dartz. It would have been cool to see Joey's and Rex's Red-Eyes Black Dragons fight eachother.
Please do these duels! 1. Joey vs Weevil (Battle City) 2. Joey vs Johnson (Noah’s Virtual World) 3. Yugi vs Arcana (Battle City) 4. Yugi vs Gansley (Noah’s Virtual World) Like this comment if you agree so we can get him to see it!
@@acebesttheiris134 Oh I see, you were saying that Nako’s duel is the first one where Joey’s opponent doesn’t cheat. I hadn’t realized that basically every other opponent he faced, (other then when he faced yugi) cheated their asses off
Yes! I love this duel for two reasons. One, it taught me about the condition of summoning Gilasaurus without a monster in the opponent's graveyard. Two, the music stopping when Joey reveals the Claw of Hermos
I think Joey has skills in Duel Links that gives him this anime luck. XD I think Skills are soft canon in the anime, though only called Skills expliciltly in the speed duel arc of duel monsters and in VRAINS.
How rex lost with an advantage summoning gilasaurs is just sad. Probably could have won going second summoning three monsters and the field spell after beating through enough monsters.
The show sh8ts on Rex from the start.... it's never clear why. Unlike Weavil who people have a reason to hate as he regularly cheats, Rex is just...arrogant, but doesn't do anything to warrant the show hating on him so much. Who wouldn't think their big Dinosaurs could stomp the competition?
14:18 Ok but let’s not act like Yugi didn’t luck out in his duel with Weevile He drew into breaker a monster with an ability to destroy a spell/trap card at the cost of 300 attack points. Than weevile activates a trap that takes away 100 attack point from all monster in both players fields all the while he had the perfect card for it in his hand from the start that specifically requires a 1500 attack monster to activate. Than he drew 7 straight monster in a row.
At least he didn't make up the rules. XD Ironically the one time he played fair, as the card does say "keep drawing until you draw 7 cards or a spell or trap" He only stopped because Tea told him to, but that would've been against the rules... unless Weavil surrendered.
Weevil had already dropped to zero. The holograms should have vanished after the first two attacks. The show basically cheated to allow Yugi the catharsis of stomping that little bug into the ground repeatedly.
Just like Yugi and Kaiba get the cards that they need to win because they believe in their decks, Joey is extremely lucky in his gamble cards for the same reason The heart of Joey's deck responds to someone who is willing to put it all out on the line to win.
I wont lie, I wish that the duels in this series werent all like, down to my last card I only have one shot at this no other plays left, kinda thing EVERY GAME because besides actually using dice, it seems like every protagonist in Duel Monsters relies on luck, and it would have been so much better seeing some of these luck cards not work how Joey needs them to sometimes and then him have another card to fall back on so that when they DO work its so much better! Time wizard ALWAYS works, the dice cards are either negated or ALWAYS roll the number he needs. You dont event question it after a while.
Here's something fun. Either the planning for Geafried tied to his lore was even more than you thought or there was a big coincidence. So by the time Gearfried the Iron Knight was released in the TCG there were only three sword based equip spells. Salamandra doesnt count as it is not the sword (which appears to be Legendary Sword) but the flame serpent around it that is the equip. This was only fore fire monsters and Joey used it on Flame Swordsman. I think this is why it is shown around legendary sword since it can only be equipped to a warrior, so this would represent botht he type and attribute of Flame Swordsman. These three equips were Sword of Dark Destruction (which can only be equipped to a Dark monster and thus doesn't count anyway), Sword of the Deep-Seated and Legendary Sword (which can only be equiped to a warrior type.) By the Time Gearfried the Swordmaster came out they had 5 more but two were Gaurdian weapons; Wicked-Breaking Flamberge Baou and Twin Swords of Flashing Light Tryce. Since they are specifically themed around the Guardian's they represent and are supposed to be those gaurdians transformed ino weapons its arguable if these count nessisary. The other three were Lightning Blade (which appears to be Legendary Sword upgraded, it even has the same effect that it can only be equiped to a warrior type), Sword of the Souleater (which again doesnt count since it is specifically for level 3 and lower normal monsters) and Sword of the Dragons Soul. Gearfried the Swordmaste has 2600 ATK which seems oddly low. Then you realize that's because he is unequiped. This is simply his ATK with the restriant off but he still needs a sword to be as powerful as they say he becomes. In addition to automatically destroying an opponents monsters by effect whenever it is equipped, the sword equips that can be equipped to him raise his ATK of course. Of the sword based cards that can be equipped to him, Legendary is the first. This would be THE warrior equip early on and thus the most likely intended despite others being out. It raises his ATK to 2900 or just 100 less than the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Considering the card lore, this does make him very formidable, especially for a warrior type. Next was the Sword of Deep Seated which pushes him 100 ATK over the Blue-Eyes by equipping it alone. Lightning Blade actually boosts him by a full 800 which puts him 400 over Blue-Eyes. Twin Swords actually reduce the ATK to grant a double attack but Wicked-Breaking when equiped on its own equals Sword of the Deep-Seated, with the Swormaster becoming 3100. Finally, Sword of Dragon's Soul increases him to 3300 but also destroyed any dragon battled by it automatically. Making Gearfried the Swordmaster 2600 ATK was actually perfect for the current sword themed quips at the time to both represent the lore and Joey's rivaly to Kaiba. The base sword pushes him up to just under Blue-Eyes with everything after poking just abouve it. Obviously, it doesn't restrict the equips to only sword themed, but this is what you realize if you follow the lore on what he used
8:32 😂😂😂 the animation was so hilarious but I won't lie the sheep being scared was so sad followed by the swallowing like it's so goofy, good job animators
3:31 Joey couldn't have activated scapegoat AND summoned panther warrior in the same turn (you can't summon other monsters the turn you activate scapegoat)
Yugi probably taught Joey that the more he believes in his deck the better his draws will be. So Joey summons Gearfried before using Pot of Greed to show his deck he believes in the heart of the cards.
If you include the duel with the Pharaoh and that Oricalchos soldier there’s five duels of the doma arc but I don’t think that one’s worth it nor is the Duke and Rebecca vs Valon one - also if the Kaiba vs Alister duels are covered they would be in one video.
Another DM Duel down. With this you've done 22 of the Duels from the 81 Duels that the original DM series had. Leaving you with only 59 Duels left from DM. However, if we take out the Duelist Kingdom Duels because most of them just had no rules thus analyizing them would be crazy and kind of impossible, as well as that one turn Duel at the start of the Virtual World Arc where that Virtual Kaiba was beaten by Total Defense Shogun on the first turn to show off the Deck Master Rules, then you only have 30 Duels left from the original series.
@@byronsenior6499 Actually now that I think about it, even including the gimmick Duels, I miss counted, it's actually 37 Duels. Here is the list of remaining Duels, outside of the Duelist Kingdom ones, that can still be analyized. Group by season to make it easier: Season 1: Yugi vs Rebecca, and Joey vs Duke (2 Duels). Season 3: Yugi vs Gansly, Joey vs Johnson, Serenity, Tristan, and Duke vs Nezbit, Kaiba vs Lechter, Yugi and Joey vs the Big Five, and Kaiba vs Gozaburo (6 Duels). Season 4: Yugi vs Gumio, Kaiba vs Alister (Round 1), Yugi vs Oricalcos Soldier, Rebecca and Duke vs Valon, and Kaiba vs Alister (Round 2) (5 Duels). Season 5: Yugi vs Duel Computer, Joey vs Grandpa, Rebecca vs Vivian, Zigfried vs Rex and Weevile, Joey vs Zigfried, Rebecca vs Leon, Yugi vs Leon, Kaiba vs Bakura, and Yugi vs Bakura (Round 3) (9 Duels).
Easiest duel of Joey’s life. But if he lost the duel, he’d lose his soul! Well at least Red got his voice retconned, despite his eyes being photoshopped closed.
I have a real idea, one that also got interrupted at the very last second. Leo Akaba "The Professor" vs. Yuya Sakaki (Merged with Yuto) and Declan Akaba At the last second where Yuya was about to win, Yuya's father Yusho uses an unrecognized card called "Restraining Sword of Impact" to trap him, causing the duel to be ruled as a "no contest". Could the Professor have won?
Chain of the underworld has to be the dumbest trap ever created. In what situation do you want to give your opponent their monster and let them draw a card
That kind of makes me wonder how Rex would play if he got Gilasaurus...later in the duel, after Tyrant Dragon was summoned. Like, would he special Gilsaurus when he could normal summon Gilasaurus just to try to bait Joey into bringing back Red Eyes?
The Infernaty Archetype (not sure i spelled that right) it would cancel most of their graveyard effects both by having a card in hand and the monster not being in the graveyard
It's a terrible card, it makes a bit of sense in this duel considering they show Rex has a monster that can attack monsters twice or Giant Rex that need to attack monsters, but it is still terrible, if at least it was the trap itself that let you attack again it would be decent
A monster who's effect does something when it destroys a monster like flame wing man. Chain of the underworld I think weakens the monster making it a better time machine if you know how to use it.
The yugi vs weevil was one of my favorite duels. Yugi snaps and wipes the floor with him at the end. The orichalcos series was always my favorite. Thanks for the content
I think the reason Rex's ace monster is a dragon is a double reference 1st to his japanese name, Ryuzaki which means dragon and 2nd to the fact a lot of dinosaur fossils/bones were originally thought to belong to dragons, same reason why the evol archtyoe goes sorta backwards in terms of 'evolution' from weak to strong monsters in the set; lizard, dino, dragon
10:56 -Actually..he had two at one time. Both his trump monsters in the orgional Joey Duel were Dragon types despite being a Dino duelist. If you remember. He had Sepent Knight Dragon who they thought was his strongest monster at first. He then revealed that was just the mini-boss kf his deck and the Red-eyes was his actual strongest monster. This means he not only replaced Red Eyes with Tyrant Dragon but also got rid of the other one for a more pure Dino deck.
Actually no, he lost serpent night dragon to espa roba in battle city. We get to see the ending of the duel play out on screen as joey arrives just in time to witness it, after which his own duel with espa starts.
@@TheKabuto90 Wow. I didn't remember that. Jeeze..poor Rex got cheated by double fake psychics. The funniest thing is that he was a big of an agressive jerk but he never actually cheated himself. He tried to get Joey's time Wizard but it was a legitimate offer and one that sealed his fate as a result since Joey even forgot it was on the field. He wasn't such an aweful enemy character. Even Mako was a bit more malicious so its funny he kept getting pooped on by other threat characters. I do actually like the little bromance they gave him and Joey in Duel links. I honestly can see them being great frienimies like he and Tristin can be at times.
The way Joeys luck works is so similar to Yami's draw power, kaiba has the power of money but still seems pretty underpowered compared to the other two powers
Can you do Playmaker vs Revolver please? I think it would be a good one, because unlike in DM, in Vrains the Duels are much more "Meta-like" and as a result of that, I don't see Playmaker or Revolver doing any missplays
@@anonluxor470 Yeah, I think people (in the show) only hate Rex because he was scapegoated to be one of the "grunt opponents" who's meant to lose. Not because he did anything wrong besides be a little arrogant. I just can't really understand why the show makes Rex out to be a horrible person when all he does is brag about how strong his dinos are. Even in Duel Links everyone disrespects him. Though he does hate Weavil but they have history as they were both former champs and Weavil I think cheated to win, but you'd think we'd feel bad for him.
It's also interesting how it seems no matter who was being the villain they always got the signature seal card. So to me that's shenanigans all over the place but hey that's Yu-Gi-Oh and that season
Trying to get back into Yu-Gi-Oh, at least the OG, I found your channel because I was desperate for anything related to Marik (he's my favorite character) and after finding your videos on the battle city duels and your honestly amazing way of proving how goofy these characters all (all the misplays man), needless to say you've earned my loyalty as a subscriber. Thank you.
While Rex may have had a hypothetical chance to win, I do think that Joey earned his victory in this duel, even if his luck was essential to his victory. I honestly hope that the next duel analysis will cover both of Seto Kaiba's duels with Allister.
I don't recall there being an extra deck lock on it, at least on the Anime. Also, even if that was the case the Anime doesn't count the various Legendary Dragon Fusions as actual extra deck cards, it treats them as the card itself transforming into the new card like how Thousand Dragon is treated in the Anime for example. In other words, if Polymerization isn't used the Anime technically doesn't count it as an Extra Deck/Fusion monster.
The seal does not lock out the extra deck in the anime. Most cards are different in real life than the anime. Like how card of demise lets you draw untill 3 in real life but 5 in the anime.
Small correction on Scapegoat with that hypothesis. You cant summon monsters the same turn you play it. Unless its different in the anime, Joey would not have been able to play scapegoat and summon panther warrior in the same turn to attack.
In regards to your question about Rex and dragons in his deck, yes. He uses low level reptiles to tribute for high level dinosaurs, then use those for higher dragons. I believe he would use an Evol-Saur deck because of their interactions and that would be a perfect play style for him
Even without hindsight, Rex made a major mistake. He traded in 3800 damage for 2500 damage for no reason, since running over Panther Warrior was no issue. Sure, the end-result would've been 0 damage, but that's the same hindsight, and because Horned Saurus only works on the turn it's summoned he always could've just done it later (something he could've near-guaranteed if he used the Orichalcos properly making Giant Rex a defender of at least Kaitoptera).
Surprised this wasn't recommended to me already! Super excited for this analysis video! Might comment more later! & here's looking forward to more like this from you in the near future!
The thing Joey could activate Scapegoat in the first turn is not working. If scapegoat is activated, the player can't summon a monster that turn, unless a normal set. Never said in the anime, but I'm convinced that Joey activated Scapegoat allways in opponets turns for that reason.
Gotta say this one was a surprise! This next one in the series came up fast and it was worth the wait. Always have loved this series and no matter what duel you analyze it’s always 10000 out of 10. Here are a few future suggestions: Atem and Kaiba vs Lumis and Umbra Kaiba vs Alister Jaden Yuki vs Aster Phoenix (round 2) Aster Phoenix vs Adrian Gecko Jaden vs Darkness (season 4) Yuma and Nash vs Don Thousand
Something underrated about Rex, even with the advantages of the Seal Of Oricalchos, he still holds the distinction of being an opponent of Joey's that didn't cheat.
For that last draw I'll defend at least Joey being able to draw into Claw of Hermos at the best moment- as a Legendary Dragon it is a mystical card. So it's not too absurd that when Joey is in a pinch/by his own will it would manifest at the top of his deck. The Gearfried combo? Now that is just ridiculous.
Nice to see the other half of the "On the Wrong Track" episodes duels. Would like to plug for another Orichalcos duel, with possibly its "initial precursor": Seto Kaiba vs. Pegasus/Alister. I would love to see how you break down the similarities and differences between the two as Alister is called out by Kaiba before he reveals himself as (in the dub at least) "What's wrong with you? You've made almost the exact same duel move for move, and the one thing you're not is predictable!"
Yeah, it’s the same with how other characters rely on, what they believe is a bigger and better monster, to do the job that more monsters could do but they want to wreck their opposition with their ace in the hole.
I love how animated the Sheep Tokens are in this duel. So much fun during a "Battle for your Soul." Also. Audio sounds way crisper than the last video. Whatever you did, this is just like the old set up. Very clear. Great video, Sam.
