@@pdswrld5200 Hey Pete sure thing man, I just released a video actually a few weeks back on how to get started as a beginner and sell like a pro on ebay, if you want to check that out, but also keep watching Reyes as well the dude is literally taking you guys along for the journey. But yeah man let me know if you have any questions afterwards as well, and good luck on your journey man this is honestly the best time to start and learn 💪
Would really appreciate it if you gave me a follow on Instagram instagram.com/reyestheentrepreneur/ Now that the series is over, want to buy something from my Ebay store? www.ebay.com/sch/supermomsroad_2/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= $1,000 eBay Challenge Episodes Below: Ep 1: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Fh9wFO9O8H8.html Ep 2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z4Q9ZaEl8Ac.html Ep 3: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EcZUEU0F5rw.html Ep 4: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UkickKHfxkg.html
I'll bet good money you didn't forget to include postage on that pink shirt! eBay changed the system a few years back. Buyers can now make a best offer, that is their "total" offer price. In small print hidden at the bottom of the screen it then says "Postage Not Included In Offer Price". Just another case of eBay stacking the deck against sellers and doing anything to force some commission.
Reyes The Entrepreneur I’m also a entrepreneur, just starting to watch your videos , can we can get in contact ? I want to learn a couple of stuff from you ,most of the humble stuff. I do shirts also learned some tips from you also
MK TAKE OFF and yes it’s hard if you don’t have a lot of money to invest and wait for money, I sold an item for 200$ and had to wait about 5 days to even see a penny and then you see the eBay fees and PayPal fees so it’s a tuff cookie 🍪
@@things4yougaming723 you have a waiting period early on amd that goes away. I dont wait for money anymore. the fees do suck, but that's where you get better at sourcing and go for more profitable items. it's a beast for sure, but a fun rewarding one
BUT REYES!!! You got scammed! That guy clearly knows how to get people to give him free stuff. Always asks them to return it, most of the time they don't even send it back. One guy in Puerto Rico tried to get a free toy from me. Said he got it damaged. I told him to send it back, he opened a return case but never sent it back. You have to call people out man.
Yup, it’s the new eBay buyers out there. All ebays fault because of all the new rules eBay has imposed on sellers. No protection so buyers basically get away with whatever they want. Just not as described and eBay will believe you to the moon and back. Just that easy for buyers and sellers just have to bend over and take it.
Ive been selling on ebay full time since November 2019 and since that time I have close to 400 items sold and over $23k in sales (not profit). While thrifting is good for some resellers who KNOW what to look for, the majority of resellers should not be focusing on thrift stores unless you definitely know your niche. I would stick with known sellable items, in my case, that's brand new shoes and clothing. Nikes, adidas, polo ralph laurens, peter millars, etc. Also a big tip for anyone who wants to try it, be the first one in the store. If you're on a budget or don't want to risk buying items for full price from retailers, always check the clearance section and just scan everything if you don't know want to look for. When I first started, I spent hours in one store just scanning everything until I found something that could potentially make me a profit. You get better with time.
This video singlehandedly inspired me to start an EBAY business. Keep your videos bro going with the platforms you believe in! Your true followers are behind you 100% ✊🏾💯
You turned a refund, into a positive review. What your whole channel is about & important life lesson, turn negatives into a positives. Thanks to your sense of humor, you will be very successful, bro. You earned a subscriber.
My very first sale on eBay was a scammer, tried to carry it off eBay and into texts remember to always stay on the platform to cover your own ass people will try to take advantage of you!
I do eBay as a side hustle. Been doing it for a year and a half. Current 90 total is $20,000. You have to keep at it and build for a good year before you start seeing results.
Love you my brotha!! Quick Tip: For those flat rate envelopes (or even manilla envelopes) you can flatten out the bottom which gives you more room!! RU-vid search: Shipping in manilla envelope make more space Or something like this. Go Reyes Go!! :D :D :D
very good video i was waiting for this finally and as an ebay seller i can tell you that we can run into alot of scams and tricks from people glad everything turn good for you reyes
Hey! Congrats the hardest part is getting started it gets easier. The next thing you should trying is only flipping things for 50 dollars are more profit. Then it is a lot less work for way more pay
Great video Reyes, I think you could make a lot more money on eBay just by diversifying the products in your store, Ive made of 3 grand in 90 days on eBay aside from my full time job, it’s a great side Hussle and I’m looking into possibly transitioning it to my full time job in the future.
@@franco714gunz9I appreciated ur reply n ur knowledge bro👍😊 Listen I have a question n no offense But don't you think the 3 grand that you made in 90 days is a little bit of money? I think u hussle making more money at ur outside job.
What’s up Reyes!! I respect you you’re such hustler u don’t give up on hope. You still get up on your feet I know you’re not the type of person who give up.. I’m in that situation too I living in my Car.
Hay bro I love ur videos I cant wait for ur next journey I was hoping u went to the hood store but u made it to ur goal so at the end of the day u hit it mark have a blessed day
By the way Reyes I sell on etsy and on my first month generated $400 in revenue. Second month $450 in revenue, third month $750 in revenue. Listed so many more items but sales have gone down significantly due to the corona. BUT thankfully going from 20 listings to 81 has helped a bit. Best of luck to you!
Nice work man! 1k baby! The low ballers are almost always problem customers. Those little hiccups that you get to deal with are all lessons. It's the cost of tuition to the reseller University. Lol
Been selling for a year on eBay this month, two nights ago I did $1130 in sells in 12 hours. But this past month I’ve made more money than ever on there, more than double what my previous 60 day total was. Took me so long to figure out how to improve my business to sell this volume but I got it now. Looking forward to the future. Also ALWAYS MAKE THE ITEAM FIT IN THE BOX/envelope for the cheapest shipping
Reyes, you picked one of the slowest categories to make money in on EBay. Try a category like video games and electronics and you churn your inventory much quicker.
i started on november made 60 plus transactions 15 on mercari started january on ebay my total sales like 6500 couple of them was phones rest just flips from local or thrifting will keep going finding more items etc but my goal to get 1 2 products to sell or have my own store hopefully one day
Customer service is one thing, but that seemed like a very experienced low baller on ebay. He was going to take the full refund when you offered it. Try offering people like that a discount first. As you said he already got free shipping and paid less than the listing. You would've been in the right to offer nothing considering the photos were all accurate.
Never offer to send anything to a different address. Even if it gets to the location they tell you, they can tell ebay that it did not arrive at the address they have on file. They automatically win in this case. Print the address as listed, get a tracking number. if your shipper says it arrived at the address, your obligation is done.
I appreciate all your hard work making these videos, but you are also letting potential Ebay sellers down. I can tell you from my experience and many others who sell on ebay. Selling clothes is very difficult especially in the beginning. I stay away from them as much as possible. Hard goods is where the money is at and they sell much faster. I also do very well with shoes. The amount of listings plays a huge factor too. I hit 1k in sales with an average of 40 listings in less than a month. now imagine if I scaled to 200 items. Please try again with hard goods, electronics and such. Your old ebay videos is what brought me here.
Love the PASSION! That "scammer" may not have been a scammer at all. With a Miami address, though jacked up, may have been for a freight forwarder. Many folks that want to purchase in the US that live abroad with use such a company to handle the shipping back to their country as it may be easier, cheaper or the only way a company will sell to them if they don't ship internationally. The forwarding company will give them an address with additional code to identify which customer the package is for. Sometimes the buyer's input doesn't fit the US address constraints on eBay when you try to print a label. Possibly they no habla ingle's in order to respond to your message. Keep the faith! P.S. fat-n-lanky sizes sell well on the Bay as they are often not readily available off the shelf :-)
I ditched selling on ebay after about 2yrs. I made lil shy of $4500 and have 100% positive feedback. But buyers always win and seller always loses. They say they didnt get it or complain about something dumb and PayPal always gives then full refund and I never get my item back. Plus loss on shipping and other fees/expenses. I switched to offer up and made a few hundred, now I'm using mercari and made a few sales. These are just sites infuse for shipping the small items. I still sell bigger things on craigslist and fb marketplace, plus offer up
But Reyes you need to get yourself Flat Rate padded envelope ✉️. Its the same rate price as that envelope you used but cleaner looking. The only way to get them is ordering them for free on USPS website!
Hi Reyes, Clothes are really slow movers which is why it seems like your sales are stagnant. Try looking and expanding into electronics, video or board games, etc. It has better margins and are fast movers. Anyways keep up the good work and stick with the hustle man
Quick question I was selling stuff on eBay and I got a email from eBay saying something about a invoice of 85$. Why do I have to pay eBay that if they already took out money from each sell I made? Please help
Hey man just because you found a smaller or bigger Lacoste swoosh it doesn't mean it's fake probably old design. Next time check inside the shirt for the tags it usually has written the nationality it was made. Hope I helped 🙏
I just did 350 sold this week. My first 30 days was 6k. eBay is hard at first. Just push threw and get your listing over 100 and the sales will come Daily before you know it.
Use Padded Flat Rate envelopes, with our PayPal discount on shipping you pay only $7.52. Don't forget you can write off your PayPal fees as a loss on your taxes. And ReYes (note the YES in your name) You get better fees from eBay if you offer Free shipping and if you ship same or 1 day. I've been selling since 1998. Oh, and the best thing - if you got it all going on....eBay will erase any negatives your buyers leave for you.
