@@nelly3457 It depends on what you are looking to do with it. The Circuit and Silhouette machines are good, but you are limited on size. However, a vinyl cutter is basically a vinyl cutter. Knowing that I would personally go with the older model the Circuit Expression, the original, and then get the Sure Cuts A Lot software. (Note: Only the original works with sure cuts a lot!) You basically would have under $100 in a small vinyl cutter that could cut anything and you would not need those "cartridges". You just import whatever designs or text you want in sure cuts a lot and you can cut it. Your only limitation is in size, the maximum size you could cut would be 24" x 24" I believe. Again it depends on what exactly you want to do as far as graphics go.

Average basic wash is about $35 for a semi cleaned car. A mud bucket car is about $50

It depends on your location though. Here in Augusta Ga, if you try and charge 35 bucks or more for a basic car wash, you would get laughed out of town. These people actually think automatic car washes that charge them 20 dollars for the "ultimate wash" is sufficient. In their minds, going through the wash in 3 minutes and then a quick stop at the vacuum is all they need. Forget about a full detail job. Most here don't know what the hell that is. Lol!

For people complaining that 149 for a interior detail or outside detail is way too much you have to understand the car washing business/ industry has changed big time it's no longer a bucket with Soup and water anymore, you have specific products for every part of your vehicle inside and out,paint correction ceramic coating,waxing, sealant, etc.

I owned a service business for over 20 years, then went into the corporate world...now after a long time there, I am working my way back out and to the same business I owned before. Make sure you give yourself time to learn and grow and it might be hard if you have a spouse (at first ) because you might be living week-to-week for a little while. But If you take the chance, you will not regret it!

Just a couple things to note, car detailing is a good business if you ACTUALLY really find a passion and satisfaction in the work. If not Id try another business TBH. Also its very fickle with financial down turns as if the economy turns again, people stop washing and detailing cars as much and business dries up unless you have mostly a "premium" client base. Finally, look up your local competition as you probably have a ton of mobile and garages with detailing offers to see what you are up against and what they offer at what prices. Good luck yall.

Nice video ,i was into auto care,and auto cosmetic business for long time. Worked as professional car detailer for years ,and man i can tell you i've seen everything when it comes to this business.We also provided headlight restoration, polishing,removing scratches with machine buffer, paint correction, deep chemical cleaning of interior's ,engine cleaning etc.. Its a good business to be in, if you are a chemical car guy enthusiast,but its not easy job.This job can be very very messy,and dirty ! I 've learned many tricks,and skills in this business when i started to work for free with a friend who was the carwash owner.I worked for free because i wanted to learn for myself how to properly wash,maintain,polish my car profesionally at home. Cars in this video are basically all clean.People's car are always nasty,and full of crap,that is the reality .I've had cars that were so bad I thought I would not be able to clean it.Some cars in our shop were not cleaned for 10 -12 years or more years.. ! Soo,yeah its tough business to be in,but in the long run it is worth it ! When you provide quality people will always come back ! We never paid for advertising ,or newspapers ..but we were always full!

Nearly $80 an hour; that's not bad and his prices are low! It would have been interesting to hear more about the eco-friendly angle in his branding and how he plans to promote that and stay on mission. 6:40 John, don't start from the bottom and work up bc all the heavy build up is down there. You risk dragging it up/around which causes more scratches to the paint. Other than that, I wish you more success.

So your telling me customer is not gona let you use their water to wash their own vehicle. You have no clue how many people offer me their water supply n electric. Ask any contractor if they carry their own water or their own electric guarantee you 90% of the time they dont.

it wasnt an interior "Wash" it was an interior DETAIL which is decent most charge 220-250 in CA that comes w steam cleaning, carpet extraction, floormats, seats carpets are shampooed and extraced everything done with trunk and people have some NASTY seats and carpets. 149 is fair deal if they want a 30$ vaccum at the car wash KICK ROCKS
