If saying that 'that guy is not real' was just an expression of speech, then why did she follow up with saying 'you people can die on this plane with him or not', lol. That second part was definitely not an expression of speech.

What about when she said something to the effect of “you all can stay on this plane and die, but I’m getting off”? Also the unmistakable fear on her face. Her words and actions don’t match up with what’s she’s saying here. She did not seem at all crazy, she seemed terrified. People don’t act and say things like that after an argument.

How did the interviewer not push back on that ridiculous answer that she was just using a figure of speech? Are we suppose to just pretend she didn’t talk about the other passengers dying and the apparent fear in her reaction?

My feelings haven’t changed. She is not the only individual that’s had a meltdown on a plane recently. The number is growing. Besides, the fear in her voice and on her face said all. On the plane. When she was watching the plane from inside. She was terrified. I just can’t get over how she wasn’t detained immediately and how she was even allowed back in an airport soon after. Now that’s what I find crazy.

I hope it's okay to say, There are many illicit drugs that create hallucinations. I wouldn't want to admit drugs induced this behavior and halted the flight and then went viral because of her idiocy. Plus, airports have clothes/hats and many times makeup for gods sake woman!

She said after that if ppl wanted to stay on the plane they could and then after she got off she kept looking at the plane and said it wasn’t gonna make it. Doesn’t anyone remember that part? She was out there with her phone saying the plane wasn’t safe. 🤦🏽‍♀️

She is so full of herself, and she's being interviewed by men who find her very attractive because her story doesn't make sense and they don't try to stop her while she's talking to try and figure out what is going on. She is sooo good at changing the subject and not answering direct questions which is a good indication she's avoiding the truth. And the guys way of starting off the interview was hilarious because her response was one of complete offense.

They did interview a passenger that sat across from them. He said she sat down and the “fake” passenger (🤷‍♀️) was chilling with his hood to his hoodie pulled up and she was talking and talking to him and he just wasn’t talking back to her so he didn’t know if she was offended and said something to make him offended enough to frighten her or what but he mentioned that when she was upset and did the whole thing we all saw, he looked over at him and the guy winked at him. Not until later when the flight was over that he realized when the man winked at him, his eye shut vertically which is very unnatural and not how humans close their eyes (horizontally) and hasn’t been able to get it out of his head since he’s realized what he saw. That’s not verbatim but close enough and it’s all over the internet.

According to the video I saw, when the other passengers were asked if they heard anything they said they heard only her talking. Then the one guy who recorded the one video said the guy she was talking about blinked his eye at him but instead of blinking the way we do, the guy’s eye blinked the other way.

I think this was really embarrassing for her genuinely in the beginning, and then took the attention and just went with it, continuing the mystery, and maybe trying to take something positive from a negative. No one would want a bad moment of time to go viral, you feel like a victim in a way, bc social media is very unforgiving and cruel to one person's bad moment, it can seem dehumanizing, so I don't really blame her for relishing in the attention after the hell storm occured. I still do think she really had a mental crisis of some sort, why else would she seem afraid after getting off the plane that something terrible would happen? The way that woman reacts in the original viral video, she surely saw something that greatly disturbed her. Something that she had no experience in dealing with. She couldn't even properly describe what she saw, hence the "unreal" monicker for it. What it was, I guess we'll just have to wait and see if it ever has a light shone upon it.

I don't believe at all that she didn't see anything! I'm 100% of all the things she said that this wasn't true!!! This was the most stark contrast and change in the entire story. So what in the world is she trying to hide? Does she just feel like a complete jackass now? Does she feel like she got a perception of herself she didn't want? Perhaps like she's completely crazy and doesn't like it?

The original event happened early July, the TMZ interview with her back at the airport wearing the same clothes was end of August. It can't be the next day because why would somebody filming her that quickly? She wouldn't have been allowed back that soon, either.

I think she signed an NDA and is now doing cover up. "I can't talk about this atrication, due to legal reasons". Sounds like NDA. She does marketing so who ever is covering this up wants her to promote the coverup.

She was high and had a few drinks and was arguing with a member of her family who had stolen her ear pods. That is why she freaked out and said he wasn't real. She was high as a kite.

As someone who is ND, I can totally understand how someone could jump around in their mind between being in the car, being on the plane and being on the cruise, mentioning something that happened at one place while talking about where I was at in another and jumping back in the next breath, especially while flustered and before my diagnosis. I could also understand being anxious about something going viral and being so focused on the original event that I don't think of something seemingly obvious like changing my clothes until later, then feeling the internal and external pressure to justify my behaviour when I didn't totally understand it myself. Not saying that's what happened, but I didn't find it so implausible or difficult to understand.

There are clothing stores and shops all over the airport which sell shirts and hats and sunglasses and scarves and face masks, etc. lol. If she REALLY wanted to change her appearance, it would have been soooooo easy

Why is it so hard for people to believe that there are "things/entities" among us that are not of human DNA. Certain.people have spoken about this for years. I've had an encounter many years ago myself that still gives me goosebumps. The veil is getting thinner and more of this will come out.

I truly believe that She took drugs or something before getting on that flight and is now milking the whole situation for attention, while controlling the narrative of what really happened.

I personally don’t think an altercation would cause that much fear. She seemed like she was genuinely scared. I think that she was either having a mental breakdown, or on some thing, or both. And that she’s embarrassed, and doesn’t want to tell the whole story, which is why she is so dodgy. But, at the same time she wants to make the most of the situation and have her “15 minutes”.

If you saw the video of her outside when the cops were talking to her, she was being very rude to them and saying that she was catching an Uber but when they asked her to order it she said she couldn't because she was literally videochatting with her mom.

A plane full of people and yet nobody sitting close to her have come forward saying they witnessed an altercation or anything strange. If she was that freaked it seems improbable that she would notice that she was being filmed whilst she was focusing on something frightening. If she only yelled in anger “that mfer isn’t even real” and didn’t look scared and explained it I could understand what she meant. I grew up near Baltimore, it was a popular thing to say “you ain’t real” “are you even for real” “bitch I know you aren’t even real right now!” In reference to someone lying “he isn’t real! I didn’t even say that!” She kind of has the cultural cadence. She didn’t just end it there though. I think she had a mental break and is covering for it.

I am now even more confident in my initial suspicion about this case. I believe she had taken a substance or medication, potentially prescription meds mixed with alcohol, which caused her to hallucinate/experience a psychotic episode. The glazed look and strange detachment for those around her, coupled with her lack of shame/embarrassment at making such a scene is something I’ve witnessed many times in my work. She then ‘couldn’t’ admit the truth because either a) it’s illegal or b) it’s pretty embarrassing to tell the world you lost your mind due to drinking with a sedative (or other meds). Instead, when it went viral and she’d come down (as people tend to do in this narcissistic, anything-for-attention, Kardashian-esque world) rather than stay quiet and let it die down, she decided to ride the wave as far as she could. Thus, she’s gotten her 15 minutes of fame and I’m sure made a few quid.

Instead he said her sketchy answers completely vindicated her. On the Daily Mail, they recently showed a 5:30 minutes long video of her on the plane, where we can see what happened just before she started screaming weird things. She can be seen arguing with a guy for a while (it looks like she was trying to get something out of the luggage case above her seat), something that wasn't visible in the short version that was shown before. She was angry and wanted to create some drama, and she needed all the other people on the plane to witness her little show. Histrionic personality disorder?

There is another video recorded by a passenger which answers many questions about this situation. The video shows that she gave her seat to someone and then there was something said, like her AirPods were picked up by one of the passengers. Then a woman informs her that she and her male companion are both lawyers and they will SUE her if she claims they took something of hers. A airline employee then tries to sort it out and then Gomas says she just wants off the plane because she doesn't want to interact with the other 2 passengers for the flight. The airline employees don't let her leave until they can locate her carryon because it's airline safety policy that passengers can't get on a plane then leave wo their property in case it contains flammable or explosive devices. Gomas was upset and embarrassed as fellow passengers are unhappy about the delay, but can't explain the event because she has been threatened with a lawsuit by 2 attorneys involved in the incident.

Seems odd that after being so terrified by what she saw on the plane, she had to frantically check social media in the taxi to she if she had gone viral yet.

I cannot put my finger on exactly what is wrong with this woman and her story, but there is definitely something VERY off about her, about her story, and about the video of her on the plane.

I’m not sure if this was mentioned but one main reason I believe she definitely saw something was because this exact thing happened on about 3-4 other flights, including in China. The people just went insane and said they saw something and you don’t hear interviews or anything else about these people. Something is definitely up

I'm autistic and have a notoriously hard time reading someone's body language, especially when what they are saying doesn't match what they are thinking or feeling (which seems to be more common than people would like to believe). My social training has dictated that by default I will just believe what they say, which, as you can imagine, has been a disaster in my life. But even I know everything about this stinks. Why would she not have clothes when she was at home, like you said? If she had washed her hair then that means she took a shower. So she put her dirty clothes back on? Did she just wash her hair because she was worried about hygiene, but then why wear dirty clothes? And on and on. As I pointed out I am not by any means learned and facial expressions but these coy "tongue over the front teeth" moves look like duping delight to me. It's like she's saying "we all know I'm full of crap and it's hard not to just burst out laughing at people's stupidity, but this is so much fun trying to pull it over on people." I actually became interested in her case because I am doing a book on people's paranormal experiences from a cultural point of view (I'm an anthropologist) and how someone's life can be changed as result of unexplainable experiences. If she had just come out and said that she felt a really bad energy and was having some kind of premonition that someone was going to blow up the plane or something I think she would actually have garnered more public support than people might think. But everything she's done in the aftermath proves she's full of shit and probably has mental health issues (and in this rubric I include trying to make a name for herself by scaring people).

If she did not see anything...why does she walk all the way up to the front of the plane to make a scene? Considering that she goes on checking the social media immediately...tells me that she staged this stuff for the attention. After watching this interview, I would not be surprised if the airplane company would sue her for that kind of irrelevant disturbance for attention. Her behavior on the plane was criminal.

In the original clip she was terrified. Her hands were shaking and her voice was very high pitched. Her eyes were dilated. Someone or something terrified her & she was afraid for the rest of the passengers as well.

I think she was either on something or has some emotional issues that rear their ugly head in times of high stress. Either way, I don't believe she saw a thing.

This interview feels like the textbook example of an explainabrag (= part explanation, part brag). The way she was immediately prepping for viral fame (something that would never occur to me after having a fight on a plane), her open/ confident body language and the non-explanations both about why she couldn't change her clothes or hair while stopping by at home and about the original altercation just make it seem phoney. Very strange.

Isn’t it interesting that after her outburst on the plane and causing a disturbance and delaying the flight, that she was free to go? Did the cops get directed to let her go, or did they see she wasn’t intoxicated, was pretty, and didn’t want to hassle her? Also, she didn’t look intoxicated. Have seen many videos of intoxicated people on flights, and she didn’t exhibit anything remotely looking like being intoxicated enough to be hallucinating.

I have only seen a couple of your commentaries on this particular person and her airplane outburst. I had not taken it very seriously because the really out there explanations that you described from some viewers seemed to me to indicate a trivial issue. I don’t think I have even read a handful comments. But this time, some of the things you said about her reactions, caught my attention. First of all, I agree that she doesn’t seem to credit any of the supernatural or outlandish theories as anything other than evidence of her being crazy. And she would rather be seen as sane but overly emotional rather than have people think that she was hallucinating. Further, she doesn’t want to be seen as someone who became impaired enough to hallucinate through some mind altering substance. But she is not flatly denying being under such influence when she is quick to decisively state other corrections to the theorizing that she has observed. The implication that some sort of substance of use may have contributed is hard to ignore, but perhaps less of a concern than why she felt that the entire plane was in danger. This is my very first theory on the subject, which previously seemed not worth even theorizing about. It is based on current events. The thing that most of us have worried most about in planes for over 20 years now is a terrorist hijacking. The things that might inflame such fears (especially when under the influence and lacking our habitual social filter) could include the presence of someone with ethnic markers that we associate with terrorism. I do not know if people have looked into who was sitting near her, or talked about who she was having an argument with. Given how distraught the lady was in that video, very likely there are people who might be able to identify parties that could clear up the events. It must’ve been a memorable flight at the outset for everyone on the plane. Unless it was uncomfortable enough that they don’t want to be identified either. What subject would be even more embarrassing for both her and her potential adversary before that video was taken? My guess: an assumption on her part that “negative energies“ connected to one of her fellow passengers (or more) meant that he/they might be terrorists. Since nothing happened to the plane, it appears that such fears were (assuming that she had them) not grounded. And it would be way more comfortable for her to pretend that she saw nothing than to potentially be accused of some sort of phobia of her fellow passengers. People get canceled for things like that. I agree that this woman does not mind the attention, for all the reasons that you have stated. Still, she must be aware, even not being a genius in using viral anomalies on social media, that not all good publicity actually is good publicity. So biding her time before giving any answer and then giving the safest possible answer that could be rationalized as true (she thought she saw a terrorist or terrorists, there were not actually any terrorists, therefore she saw nothing) was the best move that she could come up with. And if she even gave the slightest explanation of whatever physical factors set off alarms for her, it is possible that her adversary/ies, currently keeping quiet to save face himself/themselves, might feel the need to come out his/their anonymity to defend themselves and set the record straight. If my guess is correct, it could be beyond humiliating for that person or those people to call her out. In the current climate of ethnic conflict it could be downright dangerous. The reason I think now that this is worth thinking through is that it says something about our culture as it stands. And, as current events seem to indicate that saying more on the subject can result in highly unpleasant altercations, I think that I will leave it at that. But I am a bit curious as to whether you or anyone else has considered the “what did she see” question from that angle.

You have so many of the same questions I do. But my biggest question is why she wasn’t arrested. I worked at the McCarran Airport police substation here in Las Vegas for almost a decade, and she went above and beyond what would have landed her cuffs, a county “Uber” and a free booking photo with us. She scared everyone, the flight was delayed a couple of hours, people asked to change flights out of fear…she cost them a boatload of money. Also, why isn’t the guy she was allegedly having an altercation with speaking up?

She either 1. Did see something and was told to keep quiet, 2. Was on drugs at the time and feels embarrassed by her actions or 3. The whole thing really was nothing and she did it all to go viral. The way she says she immediately started looking online to see if anyone posted it, or how she knows exactly how many people have viewed it. It sounds like she wanted people to see it.

True story... When I was around 10 or 11 years old I seen a man at a gas station, but he was not just a man. That's all I can say or will say because the experience still haunts me and freaks me out till this day, and i am 45 now. I was not seeing things and I'm not making it up, i dont even like thinking about it, but every time I hear about this tiffany gomez plane incident im reminded of what i seen when i was a kid. 11:30 She says, "I'm like literally a crazy person --not literally but you know --googling United Airlines." She's very intent on denying being crazy or having any sort of mental illness. She seems very aware of appearances, both physically and socially as she talks about her hair and the figure of speech she started to use (I'm like a crazy person googling the airline/incident) that would make her look "less than" in society. She wants no association with mental illness, and I wonder if that is because she doesn't like the connotation of "being crazy", if she's distancing herself from symptoms she has, or if she has a job that would be impaired by a diagnosis. I also noticed how much valley girl type vocabulary she uses in this interview, and I didn't notice that in the original clip nor the apology video.
