The apostles in CHRIST's Earthly Ministry did similar, BUT this was during HIS message of the KINGDOM, now Postponed till future Millenium. Whether Inherit means to 'Have' is still unknown to me, BUT this scenario was BEFORE the Death, ( Shedding of Blood ), Burial, and Resurrection of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR Salvation as revealed to HIS Servant the Apostle Paul. The Apostle Peter and the other 12 didn't understand Christ's Need to die for the sins of the world ( Luke 18:34, Matthew 16:22-23, Luke 24:25-27 ) during CHRIST's Earthly ministry. My bottom-line understanding is that OT ( which was still in effect till the death of the Testator Hebrews 9:16 ) And even then there was a Transition till Paul's Revelation of the mystery of Church Age, which in the Mind of GOD came AFTER a Legitimate Offer ( & reoffer in early Acts ) of the KINGDOM to Israel, Now Postponed till future Millenium

luke 7 47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” Can you please explain this from a free grace perspective? Jesus says she's saved because she "loved much" later on Jesus also said her faith saved her, doesn't it seem to suggest that true faith is always accompanied with love?

Can anyone learn anything about the cross work and full reconciliation back to the Father through that way? Does Matt, Mark Luke and John even know about the finished cross work at the time of this writing? Are these books Jews talking to Jews only? It looks like there are 2 TRUE gospels going on in the new testament. One is the salvation of the Jews only, and the other by belief in the cross work of Christ by grace alone for anyone who would believe in it.

Gee .. a big methodology error in interpretation here, not followed *. Authorial intent . Why interpret the Synoptic gospels using the gospel of John?? Mark Mathew and Luke written a good deal prior to John. How were the churches to interpret their reading "the Rich Young Ruler" before John wrote his gospel? Its apriori reasoning.

Satan believes that Jesus died for our sins and the He was risen in 3 days. But he doesn't BELIEEEEEVE. So John 3:16 is not all that clear. Its bones are in need of some flesh. James clearly teaches the need for good works. Every believer has great rewards in this life. Oh, you mean like great suffering? The latter gets you great rewards in the NEXT life. Phil. 1:29: for to you it has been graciously granted to be suffering for My sake. You can serve one of two masters. Satan's favorite nephew: Mammon. Blameless is a human standard of righteousness. Not His. You don't earn eonion salvation by obeying all the commandments because only Jesus was able to do that perfectly. Paul's conversion was not faith-, but EVIDENCE-based. IF you believe in Jesus you will do what He says. John 3:16 is not the message of salvation, rather its one of many that promises everlasting life to true repentant believers that continue in the faith until the end. Jesus said to do sell everything take all of your money and give it to the poor. That doesn't mean that to obtain salvation you must give all your money to the poor otherwise the poor wouldn't be able to be saved unless they gave away their money. The point in that parable is that Jesus was testing his commitment to His Lordship. He could have asked him to do a hundred different things. Jesus asked him to do something that would test his willingness to deny himself. He went away, saying I'm not doing that. He wouldn't confess that Jesus was to be the Lord of his life, he wouldn't submit to His sovereignty. The feature here in being saved is to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Meaning to believe that Jesus died on the cross was buried and rose again, that the resurrection shows that He is God as indicated in the statement that He is to be confessed as Lord, so you are confessing both the deity of Jesus Christ, the Sovereignty of Christ and the work of Christ's sinless life substitutionary death literally body resurrection, believing in your heart the facts of the gospel that God raised Him from the dead, is to say God the Father put the stamp of divine approval on the perfect work of Jesus Christ. Christ's resurrection was a Supreme validation of His earthly ministry. You will be saved only when you have acknowledged Jesus as your Lord believing in the substitutionary work validated by His glorious resurrection you believe in your heart you confess openly with your mouth unto salvation. Jesus said Matthew 10:32-33 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. You either confess or you deny. IF you fail to confess then you are in effect denying. Each of us has to come to a point where we publicly acknowledge our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Wherever you go let people know you believe Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus is Lord. IF He is our Lord, what does "Lord " mean. It means someone who is to be obeyed. Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. There are many scriptures promising eternal life, there are no promises for those who hear only, but a hearer and a doer.
