200 copies from the first three centuries is really incredibly high. That 200 survived over a 1700 to 2000 year period is miraculous. 200 would be plenty to compare and look at the original text. I haven't ever heard about these 250,000 manuscripts adnan claimed exist....where are they? Are they catalogued and marked so everyone can read them like the New Testament ones are? He said 250,000 copies were made in 200 years. That seems ridiculous. That's an average of 1,250 copies each year or 3 and a half copies per day *every single day for over 200 years straight.* An enormous effort would have to be in place to maintain that kind of scribing for such a sustained period of time. I seriously doubt that happened. Also, he said that Dr. White couldn't show any evidence of even one companion disagreeing with Uthman...yet Dr. White's presentation gave specific hadith where people disagreed with the Quran which was compiled by Uthman. I don't see how adnan thought this comment was supposed to carry any weight.

The idea was to compare the modern Quranic text with the codex. If he had read from his head people could easily say he adjusted his recitation to match the codex. So now any person who can read arabic can compare the modern Quranic text with the codex and see they are the same, proving that the Uthmani text survives today. If you're gonna watch these video's people you have to pay close attention. The reciter is reading from a modern Quran while Adnaan stands with his back to him looking up at the codex, reading it to make sure it checks out against what is being read. He then turns around to say it is exactly the same. The fact is if any non muslim scholar in the audience wanted to double check it he would have been welcome to do it.

It was strictly recitation done from memory passed from Allah who ordered Jibreel to deliver it to Muhammad to deliver it to his companions. Uthman's Quran is a standardized version of the Quran. There were originally 7 ahrufs for the different arabic tribes who had different dialects. 5 were destroyed and there are now 2 left called Hafs & Warsh. The subject matter is the same and the only differences between the 2 and the 5 we no longer have was the verbs and sentence structure due to the differences in dialect. ie. It was a cloudy day today. vs There were clouds in in the sky today. The history of this can be referenced from our sources and any other sources claiming anything different than what I mentioned here is clear & blatant falsehood because no one kept account of Islamic history but the Muslims themselves. Well no. You have to understand the context. The Quran could only be compiled into a book when the revelation stops. Else you’d be adding more and more in as revelation comes which you can’t do if you complete the book first. And the Quran comes in 2 parallels methods, the oral and the written. Even if the written was rewritten to be standards (in your eyes not original, when the original is used a source). The oral is uninterrupted. And the written isn’t really rewritten it’s just wrote and compiled like the prophet (pboh) taught them. And it’s written in the tribe in which the prophet came which is Quraysh, which Uthman was.

I know you are probably not going to believe me but what I am about to say I invite you to investigate yourself. The Quran is not one. And Muslims are obviously not united. There are six main copies of the Quran which exist which are also very old. However, none of them date back to the time of Muhammad. I am not sure of their names but some of them are in museums in Turkey, another is in Egypt, a third in Uzbekistan, there are the Sana'a manuscripts from Yemen, and 2 more. Turkish Muslim scholars have examined these manuscripts and found that none of them date back to Uthman's time. Also, they are all different from each other. They published their findings in a book of over 1,000 pages explaining all of this. Also, even though there are many Christian groups there are also many many different branches of Islam. There are Sunnis (many of whom disagree with each other), Shia, Ahmadiyya (are they Muslims or false Muslims?), Sufis, Obadis, Alawis, and many more. Of course we cannot forget ISIS, Al-Qaida, the Taliban, Muslim Brotherhood, Boko Haram, and many many more who share their fundamental views of Islam. Muslims are very divided and they constantly fight each other as well as the rest of the world. The Qibla of all of the mosques which date back to the 600s and 700s points towards Petra, Jordan. The Qibla was not towards Jerusalem and was not towards Mecca until perhaps the 800s. That is in direct contradiction to what Islam teaches. We have dug to the foundations of many mosques from that time period and we can see that they point towards Jordan. This suggests that Islam changed in its teachings and its text over time. It also suggests that virtually all of what we know about Muhammad was perhaps made up or exaggerated greatly. Again, I know that most Muslims will simply dismiss what I have said above. But why? tactical plunger notice how i said they all memorized all of the quran, when the companion was memorizing the quran they memorized all the parts that were commanded to be known by the prophet, all other verses were left out as said by the prophet. so when many people died in the battle it was not that they each of them had memorized a unique section of the quran and thus when they died we lost that section no. what happened was many men had died who had memorized the whole quran and that brought the realization that if all the companions die then we lose the quran so we should come together and write this down because eventually all of us will die. and no one companion was given a unique section of the quran i reiterate that point. so when the all the companions came together they all had the quran in their minds, the same quran, so if anyone had variations they were quickly put away as the rest of the companion did not have that particular variation memorized.

Saying that "we have our way of verifying authenticity, you don't therefore you are wrong", ignoring 100s of years of authentic research. Plus in all mosques, all of the Al Quran is recited during Ramadan and in prayers, which people correct one another if mistakes are made, and this is because the Al Quran is revealed almost poetically with a melody that makes it easy to memorise and pass on to children as young as 6, and this is another reason why everyone found it hard to produce a scripture that is similar or better than the Al Quran (which even now people have failed on that challenge, a miracle that we can see in front of our own eyes), because the Al Quran style of writing was completely unique to the other 6 style of writing that the Arabs used to use, and in fact the Al Quran now became the foundation of grammar and language for different modern Arabic language that we have now, which have impacted all languages in the world and Arabic is a semitic language and all of this means that if people tried to change anything in the Al Quran or make a mistake it will eider not make sense in the Al Quran or it won't match the style of writing the Al Quran have used, hence why it is easy for Muslims to spot mistakes or changes in the Al Quran quickly, and this has been shown as the Al Quran that have mistakes have been scrapped out instantly hence you do not see those mistakes in the Al Quran before or after that period or in any other Al Quran.

In fact we have all the 7 different variant of the Al Quran from the time of Muhammad (SAW) or first generation of the Islamic period in the Museums around the world, and we can still see that the Quraish variant is exactly the same as the Al Quran that we have now, plus we can see the differences between the variant that has no effect on the meaning or changes to our belief, in fact is something that all Muslims would agree upon, and we also memorised the Al Quran which we can take the chain of memorisation back to Muhammad (SAW). Now regarding the Bible you said that "You will never get such a thing in the Bible", well clearly you haven't done any research, because the protestant disagree with the Catholics on the number of Gospels they have, as some of the Gospel that Catholics have is completely rejected by the protestants, then you have other groups of Christians that believe in a complete different Gospel than the protestants and catholics depending on how they interpreted when translating from Greek to English, and that is only depends upon which church father you believe, such as there are multiple meaning for a word that can match the same grammar in a sentence in the Greek Bible, so clearly there is a clear problem with the Bible that has been a debate amongst Christians throughout centuries, something that Muslims never had that problem since we have our Hadith to back up our interpretation of the Al Quran and plus we accept all the 7 variant of the Al Quran that came from God the Almighty to Muhammad (SAW). The oldest full Biblical manuscript that you have is in the 4th century that has two extra Gospels that no modern Bible has it, then you have verses added and taken out or changed, such as the stoning of a women is not in any of the early Bible, the verse regarding the baptise in the name of the father, holy spirit and the son is not in the early manuscript and we can literally go on, hence why these verses are in some modern Bibles while some removed it knowing that it was added afterward, and you can check that difference between the New Kings James version (also research who Kings James was when writing this version of the Bible, as it will shock you) and the New International version or look at the sub notes from scholars that clearly will tell you that these verses have been added afterwards some as late as the 15th century. But the problem doesn't just stop there because we only found these corruption with the Bible that were in the 4th century and onwards, however we cannot be sure what other corruptions there is in the Bible since there is no full manuscript of the Bible from the third, second and first century, hence you have so many contradictions in the Bible one great example is Jesus genealogy and then you have contradiction within his miracles in the Bible, then you have contradiction with the actual belief system or events between Gospels. The problem still doesn't end there, because the authors of the Bible are all anonymous such as that no one know who Mark, Luke, Mathew etc are or did they even have those names (as no early manuscript even have those names, and clearly they never even saw Jesus may peace be upon him before as they wrote their Gospels many years after Jesus and in a language that Jesus never spoke in, then you have your Church fathers that accepts which Gospel they wish to follow and which one to reject, and literally no one can verify which Church father chose the right Gospel, forget about the fact that no one knows if the anonymous authors of these Gospels were even writing the truth or a made up fiction, and the fact that their Gospel is corrupted as explained doesn't really help Christianity. In fact the Hadith which Muslims see as weaker than the Al Quran is actually more reliable and accurate than the Bible that Christians have, as the Muslims can verify the chain of narration such that who ever is involved with writing it and where and who they got their information from, we have all their biography and that same Hadith is found in hundreds of other Hadith in an independent chain all linking to Muhammad (SAW), hence Muslims can verify exactly which Hadith is stronger or weaker, while Christian have none of these hence Christians are more dependent upon blind believe. Please read your own Christian scholars work to find more about your religion, as clearly you have not done your research to come and tell me about Islam, which I am proud to have converted from Christianity to Islam after a open minded research on all the Abrahamic religions. Of course the claims made should be within the realm of reason and not in isolationof, but in this case it simply underlines the fact that the issues raised were already current at the time. You can't throw out non-Muslim sources just because they are non-Muslim. Each issue must be raised and assessed on its own merit. Christians accept input from non-Christian sources to underscore historic context. It does become a problem when the source is obviously trying to undermine with insincere commentary.

It's not irrational to believe that God is truly unique and that there isn't anything in creation that he can be compared to. If there was something in creation that could be compared to God then it itself would be God. The trinity is revealed through Jesus and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.. Christians take scripture for what it says and lets it speak for itself. So either you believe God for what he says or you don't. Many people think it's foolishness to believe in a God period and that we (Muslims/Christians) are foolish and insane for believing and trying to rationalize the exist of an irrational idea/religion. Does that make it false because people don't understand or believe? No. Consider that fact that God is timeless. Does that really make sense? Could you prove timelessness or compare it to anything in time? No. Yet you believe it as a Muslim right? What if someone asked you to explain how a being can exist outside of time and space? What if they asked you to compare it to something? Would they not call your attempt just you "rationalizing something irrational?" Or take any other of God's attributes that don't fully make sense and the same can be said of those. Yet you believe.
