We had to swap some tires around in the mud before we could tow this Chevrolet Avalanche out of the off-road trail. Will we get the 4x4 wrecker stuck in the process, or can the extreme off-road wrecker drive through the very spot that the Avalanche was stuck in?

A farm tractor with a receiver hitch with a hydraulic winch molded into it for the three point hitch makes a perfect off road recovery vehicle. Its has the traction to get in those tough spots and the hydraulic power to pick a vehicle into tow mode and just idel out of those deep mud holes. Wheel brakes so you can maneuver things around at ease.

i noticed my E locker wasn't working the other day. i have to take some time to do some work on the red turd before i get into trouble. nothing big right now but if i keep putting stuff off one day i will have to rebuild everything at one time. and i hate doing stuff like that when all i have to do is make time to do it when needed. not have to.

The Z71 option is not too bad, included is a rear smart locker. I had the pickup version and the truck did quite well off road. But not like the BSF wrecker!

it always had a lean-out accel. stumble, probably needs the pump cam position changed, larger volume pump or different nozzles. it needs tuned for the vehicle and driving conditions, majority are setup for street driving with minimal accel. pump spray after the first bit of pedal travel. you don't want to go overboard though, because that can load it up and foul plugs on trails where you're moving the throttle continuously.

The entire recovery was a cluster...pull the pos avalanche to high ground away from the mud hole and THEN play swap the agri industrial non bead locked tires around...itd taken less than half the time spent and been so much easier on all concerned... Hey let's change not 1 but 2 tires down here in the bottom of the mudhole...😐

They were trying not to damage the rims and they had to move the good one from the back to the front, therefore 2 tire changes.

@@dustintunis9347 screw the rims!! Wrong rims for those tires. It was mud, not going to tear up the rims. Tires had already been run off the rims, so weren't going to hurt them anymore.

Thanks, but remember the terrain between our recoveries, and Sand Hollow is like two different worlds. We are planning to head out there in October, and we will see how the wrecker does out there.

I'm not sure about the states, but in Canada where I'm from, not many old revolvers like that around. But LED versions of the sealed beam bulbs can be bought.
