Psamtik I was believed to be a minor Egyptian pharaoh. But in 2017, an exquisite statue of him was uncovered, suggesting his status and importance in history may need to be revisited.

Yeah, let's keep believing quartzite could be cut by the rubberish bronze tools with such precision. Let's keep lying for our ancestors.

What if these great statues are of much greater antiquity, and the hieroglyphs were added during the later king's reign. Arent there many examples of very fonely worked polished statues which are engraved in far less skilled hieroglyphs? Tky

See the Only Upper Egypt north of Sahara as well as the Nile river valley had History. Even Black people lived through egyptian empires, but never learned or tried to learn from the Civilizations. Thats why it became known as dark continent because of Lack of History. But that too is fine. For a very extensive period, they could have been the Most peaceful from horrible wars and destructions😅

@Megaminddominator
@Megaminddominator 8 месяцев назад
@@dargaard3339 and are you fool? I have clearly mentioned Southern Africa lacked history. So whatever your Queen, she is from Egypt. And please dont say it was Cleopatra that Black queen🤣🤣🤣 Cleopatra is the title name given for Women Queens and Mistress of Greek Ruled PTOLEMIC EGYPT. The cleopatra you claim is actually greek lady and the Seventh Cleopatra who had relation with Roman empire from Julius caesar to Augustus and Mark Antony. Dont forget the Egypt came under Alexander rule and one of hks General was PTOLEMY, who proclaimed as Pharoah of Egypt after Alexanders death in 323 BC. Julius caesar lived around 50 to 30 BC and so does Cleopatra and Mark Antony. And for your kind Information, until AUGUSTUS ASSUMED AS THE FIRST ROMAN EMPEROR BY 10 BC, rome was not an Empire, but a Republic. Julius caesar was the first almost to become Emperor but he was assasinated as we all know how it happened. Greek ladies of Egypt were called CLEOPATRAS and your Imagination says Greek accepted a Black Nubian as their queen? Imbecile minds

looks like a giant cnc machine sandblasted it into what it is, you see a lot of statues that look that an artist hand crafted them and others that look like a machine made them, sharp internal corners for example, uniformity and precision
@PrivateSi
@PrivateSi 4 года назад
You people who think every sharp angle and super-smooth, very flat surface is machined are an insult to stonemasons. Some modern stonemasons keep the very ancient handcraft arts going - many are now better than even the top Ancient Greek and Roman masons. Simple hand tools, wet cloths and grits for polishing. There is not much uniformity in ancient Egypt, up close. We do see cast metal and clay creations, but no cast concrete until Greece and Rome... Everything is hand crafted, all the blocks are different sizes, repeating elements are not identical (unless stamped on clay and plaster when they were wet).. Large polygonal block work is far less effort than insisting all blocks be the same dimensions. Making some joins millimetre perfect takes time and effort, not advanced machinery. Copper then bronze, then iron tube drills and stone saws + simple rigs could have been used but are not really needed and there's no evidence for them (other than some nice holes and possible tooth marks (but toothed chisels are also possible)... blah, blah... The Ancient Advanced Engineering bandwagon is full of BS, even if it is a fun ride.

Why_C GamingHD 😂😂😂😂😂😂.ask your self why the face of the Khufu is destroyed. Are Egyptians vocabularies same as Europeans.things like amun ra, akhenaten, annunaki Those Egyptian vocabularies and nouns are African at least maybe American Indians

Why_C GamingHD where did you read that? Please cite lol pretty sure you watched a misinformed RU-vid documentary getting that information. Egypt itself has been ruled by many people’s. The north of the country was taken over by the Hyksos which were from the steppe region. Please kids go read a book.

Kevin Ambunya i assume the face is desroyed bc its very old 🕵️ But whats the point of your comment? early egyptians cant be related to europeans bc they use different word? so romans cant be related to italians bc romans used letters as numbers? What level of argumentation is this?

Right away eurocentric archeologist depict this ancient Pharaoh with European or euro-arabic facial features even though the find was found in Africa and possibly dated in the 6th century B.C. Such hubris is to be expected.

By the 6th century bce, the Egyptians were being ruled by the Libyans followed by the 25th dynasty which was Nubian. Not all Egyptian Pharisees were black. Egypt was probably one of the most ethnically diverse places in the ancient world. And yes, those actors were probably not on point but there's nothing you know that the egyptologists (who are not all white) don't know.

What a laughable and comical portrayal of Psamtik I, he was a native Pharaonic Egyptian not some Arab invader, he would’ve been black like all native Pharaonic Ancient Egyptians were from predynastic times up until Graeco-Roman times. 😂😂😂😂😂 ridiculous video
