This, is why defensive coordinators send the whole line at the quarterback when this play comes up. Because some genius always reminds them how stupid they are for not playing actual defense at the end of the game.
Dirty. When an offensive lineman, stands up, he put himself in a vulnerable position. Imagine the middle linebacker, ravaging, and upright lineman on the off chance the quarterback does not take a knee. that would be considered a dirty play by the linebacker if the quarterback does take the knee. Just plain dirty. Purdue ran that against Arizona some 10 years ago. The Arizona defense respected the run out the clock move, to their detriment.
This not so much, but I have seen some quarterbacks run down the fence and fake a slide so the defense backed off so they wouldn’t get hit with a penalty and he kept on running! That should be a flag!
So many people show how dirty they play. That Qb didn’t even try to Kneel he did a boot roll out to the opposite side of the field.. I would’ve smacked him but if he’s in the pocket about to kneel unless his knee on the ground he gets smacked too
never faked a kneel down. immediately came out and looked to be running around right end. Watson should have gotten out of bounds at the end of the play. anyone who whines at this play should also be pissed at play action pass as it is just misdirection.

The linemen have a code that if the qb is about to kneel we don't fight that way we avoid injuries and bad blood and trust it gets heated. If they abuse that good sportsmanship that's dirty and they should expect the linemen to murder the qb the next time he kneels and if that happens since he's lined up so close the chance for injury is high
Plays like these are very dirty, they are abusing good sportsmanship from the linemen who aren't trying to murder the qb if he's kneeling dont be mad when they destroy the qbs arm when he knees next game
