That study is inconclusive and most of the people tested had underlying health problems. They also said the same thing about box hair colors. So until they have concrete proof I will continue to relax my hair.

Everyday it something new that could cause cancer here in the US. Our standards are low compared to other countries as far as what we can ingest

@@NiaraAlexis we are unhealthy because we eat poorly. I travel the world and the American diet is an embarrassment and flat out the reason for the bulk of the issues. I was in Italy for 2 weeks and everyone smokes cigarettes all day but still have a longer life expectancy than Americans because they nourish their bodies properly everyday.

My mom has been using hair relaxers since before I was born up till this day..She just turned 70 in October and has never been diagnosed with cancer or any other health problems..

Ur input ab the cancer part is sooo true. I honestly read what I read and all of them basically said “maybe..” “we can’t say for sure”. Like ? Why would i stop based on that. Like stretch out your relaxers and call it a day. And also when I say everything is a problem- EVERYTHING. If anything it just motivates me to be healthier. Eat healthy, workout, do things to give your body a chance to fight against the chemicals and stuff that are going in it

I'm not relaxed anymore, but I agree. There are so many things that might cause cancer. Deodorants, foods, cleaning supplies, perfume, hot bottled water, the list just goes on.

beautiful! My lips are almost the same color as yours. I am staring bc it looks like you have on lipstick. Yours are pinker and much prettier though! a makeup artist told me many years ago that naturally pink lips are the perfect color canvas for lipstick and a makeup artist's dream. you can basically wear any color. sorry i'm off topic. 😭😭Tingling means scabs are forming. Hope you didn't get scabs. Have you tried NAIROBI SENSITIVE SCALP RELAXER?? It takes longer to break down new growth with no tingling for me. If you have 4c and above my recommend perm isn't for you 😂 Your hair looks beautiful as always ❤️💙💆🏾‍♀️

Honestly, I agree. At the end of the day, what you put in your hair doesn’t have an affect on me. To each it’s own. Like you said, I don’t relax my hair but I enjoy your content because it’s nostalgic and “warm.” 🫶🏾
