Hey Lovely! I typically style my hair in large braids that I keep wrapped under head scarves and that I can take out into a braid out whenever I want to. Twists and braids have been go-to’s of mine in the past, but I don’t do them as often anymore because I prefer to style my hair in a way where I can wear my hair out and then easily put braid It up and protect It.💞

Hey lovely💞 thank you so much for tuning in and watching the videos💞 in terms of keeping the scalp cleansed, because I don’t use a lot of products in my hair my scalp stays clean in between my wash days. I don’t have any build up in between my wash days especially because I do not use any gels, and I stick to only using three products so that works for me. Hey Lovely!💕 I’m gonna do a porosity test soon because I honestly don’t know 😩 My hair gives me mixed signals. I always thought my hair was high porosity because it retains moisture really well, but ANYTIME I’ve tried the porosity test in the past it would NEVER sink and that always confused me. So that’s why I don’t talk about the porosity of my hair because I just don’t know. Also, I know how to help any kind of porosity of hair. Sierra’s hair is low porosity (like for real she used to have a hard time retaining moisture) but with working with me her hair that once didn’t go past her neck is now at her waist 🤷🏾‍♀️ so porosity don’t really matter when you over here baby we just do the dang thang like it’s meant to be done so our lovelies can get the results yall looking for 🙌🏾💖🫶🏾 you know what, I’mma do the porosity test with warm water in one cup and cold water in another cup with both my and Sierra’s hair to see how warmth impacts the hair strands and we’ll see. I will definitely keep you updated when I do it 💕🫶🏾

Hi, can i also apply the treatment at the roots and can i apply it twice per month since i have natural dry hair and low porosity? Thank you for your response
@sislaysandazetv
@sislaysandazetv 7 месяцев назад
Hey Lovely! You can definitely apply the treatment at the roots, in fact, we strongly recommend that you do so that way the nutrients in the treatment can really get on the scalp and into the hair follicles to stimulate growth and promote scalp health. And yes, you can apply the treatment twice a month. Be careful, however, because everyone’s hair cannot take a lot of protein. So listen to your hair and pay attention to how your hair is responding to doing the treatments twice a month!

@sislaysandazetv
@sislaysandazetv 10 месяцев назад
Hey lovely💗 the protein treatment really makes my hair feel softer, strong, more moisturized and & easier to detangle / manage which is why myself and my bestie have been using It for so long. Everyone is different I’m sorry to hear that the egg diys have made your hair feel stiff and hard. Your hair may be sensitive to protein, or if you have recently texturized or relaxed, that can be why. You can try subbing out the egg for avocado and see if that helps your hair be less hard and stiff. I hope this helps lovely💗 God bless you in life and in your natural hair journey💗
@jk9084
@jk9084 10 месяцев назад
@@sislaysandazetv Well the DIY mask that I use is actually an avocado mask but I once put an egg in it and my hair became hard and stiff. Without it my hair is soft. So yeah my hair is protein sensitive although it is highly porous, but I was intrigued and tempted by your hair mask hence I asked the effect on your hair, because e.g. Aphogee makes everybody's hair stiff.

Hey lovely💞 in terms of keeping it neat, even when I do 8-14 medium sized braids and wash my hair within the braids my hair tends to stay pretty neat. (When I go to take my hair out the braids the curls are still pretty preserved) but if you hair is getting messy after oiling and massaging I can suggest that you wear a headwrap (if you are comfortable and if you would like to keep your hair in those braids) or once your twists/ braids are dry take them out and wear your braids out for about a week. Then re-moisturize and braid them back up in the large sections. I hope that this helps💗 let me know if you have any questions💕💕
