In this video I am applying styling products. More so pay attention to the education and technique in this video. First making note of the health and condition of the hair is most useful. Unhealthy hair will not miraculously become healthy/curly with product use. Having healthy, hydrated hair, using the appropriate product, as well as the adequate amount of product, and the application of the product all play a part in reaching the desired results.

@@acurlywalk5761 Yes indeed, glad more stylists are coming to the yt world. Great video. My cutitkinky stylist used ufd and ich on me as well. What is an alternative to ich you would recommend, that is easily accessible from the drugstore? Would camille rose curl maker act the same on top of ufd since it is an aloe based gel as well? Also what anti humectant gel from the drugstore can i put on top of ich? I live in a humid climate and when my stylist used just ufd and ich, my frizzed up by day 3 lol. Thanks for your help.

That isn’t necessarily the amount of product, but the way that you’re applying products and/or drying.

The ufd makes my hair tough after application. I clarify as well. I’m not sure why that’s happening because it wasn’t happening at first.

Laya Moore that is smartt I use medium temperature water but that would probably help. What I do now is spray the uncle funkys leave in conditioner before I put the curly magic on and my hair hasn’t gotten as dry since

I actually used 3 gels. The first two were humectants, pulling water into my hair, and the last one was a anti humectant, keeps water in and protect my hair from the dry element.

The same steps but depending on your lifestyle (if you work out or not) and/or your climate you might need more holding products but in general the same steps apply, your curl pattern doesn’t mean anything and people need to let that go, these same products and routine have been used on so called “4c” hair and have gotten hydrated and defined curls from doing it.

@@LifeFilmz Hey I agree with you, for the most part, the curl pattern really isn't important in that aspect. But for me, I like to see hair that looks more tightly coiled like mine rather than looser curls. I just like seeing hair that looks like mine and I think that may have been her reason for asking.
