I love your results. I recently got Aunt Jackie’s Ice Curls, Don’t Shrink Flaxseed Gel, Curl Boss and Quench Leave-in. I’m currently trying out the ice curls and so far, so good. I will eventually get around to picking up the mousse now that I know it pairs well with ice curls and I’ll bet it works well with the other gels too.

Your curls are so beautiful the mousse foam products are my favorite because I don't have to do much to enhance my wave pattern. I Just do foam and water and a little gel to cut my frizz if I need to. Great video thanks for sharing.

Hi Rae I have not used the Aunt Jackee’s grape-seed line but I loved the combo on your hair and with my hair being finer I think I could go a full week. I have started liking volume over definition (I still want my hair defined) but it takes a few days to get the volume. I have only tried a mousse one time and loved it but that was very early in my natural hair journey but I liked it and want to have one good moisturizing Mousse in my rotation of products. OMG 😮 another dryer bit the dust smh and yes I agree to look around for a heavier duty standing dryer that is made to handle weekly to bi-weekly use. They don’t make things to last very long like they use to. Good luck finding one. Let us know as I would like another dryer that dries with the airflow going downward.

Hi Shelle! You could definitely get a full week out of this. I washed on day 5 because I needed to get more content out, but I definitely didn't need to; I could've gone a full week. I think this mousse is very moisturizing, especially paired with the leave-in and gel. My hair was moisturized the entire time. Thanks for tuning in.💛

Thank you! I used to use the Don't Shrink and I didn't get flakes with it, but I never used it with the Curl la la. Have you tried the gel with a different leave-in? Hi, I know you didn't ask me lol but I've used this mousse multiple times on my daughter's hair alone. I do mini twists on her using the mousse and after a week I will unravel them. Her twist out lasted over a week with great definition and minimal tangles. I usually don't go this long between wash days so this isn't our usual routine, but it worked out lol

Thank you. What helps me have and keep moisturized hair is having a good wash day. My hair has to be moisturized and hydrated before putting my leave-in and stylers on. If my hair isn't hydrated first, it won't be hydrated after. With that being said, think back to when you used it and whether you had a successful wash day with products that really moisturized your hair and did you deep condition, etc. Just a thought. Let me know how it goes the second time around. 💛

You probably could, but I don't know why you would need both for a twist out. Either one should work great by itself for a twist out, especially if you twist on wet hair. Thanks for tuning in.

Please help me understand why some apply gel first the mousse whereas in your application you use mousse first then the gel?

Hi! I can't speak for other people, but I apply the mousse first because I'm using a harder holding gel. I want the softer product closest to my strands. I think most people who are adding the gel first are probably using a looser gel like UFD and they are using it as their primer before the mousse to give it a little more hold. Just my take, but again, I can't speak for them. I hope you enjoyed the video!💛
