Throughout my natural hair journey, I have been asked over and over about my hair and the products I use. So, I decided to start this channel to answer some of the most common questions I get asked.
My goal for this channel is to encourage women of all ages to embrace their natural hair. I hope that by watching my videos, you will learn techniques that will help you along your natural hair journey, as well as learn about products and ingredients that may work best for you to achieve healthy beautiful hair.
Everyone's hair is different, and everyone's journey will be different, but hopefully you will begin to love and appreciate your hair in all its natural glory.

Oh wow, I saw that Pattern is having a Labor Day sale right now so I came on here specifically looking for a review on the milk before I purchase it and here you go Rae with a new upload today! 🤩 How did you know?? lol Thank you for posting and for always sharing your honest thoughts with us! ❤ Ps. Curious to know, did you notice a difference between the leave in and the milk as far as the application and moisture? I’m trying to decide which one makes most sense for me! 😌💕
I've been waiting for this review as you know I love a good milk leave-in. I like your results. My hair is not a fan of the glycerin be at the top of the ingredient list. Maybe it will work better in the winter months. Thanks for sharing your review.
I’m using The new Nature’s Little Secret Papaya line today. I didn’t know the Conditioner on in the line wasn’t a deep conditioner. Directions say to rinse it out after leaving on hair for 3 to 5 mins. I still like it and think it’s a good conditioner.
The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods is one of my favorites, have repurchased the travel size several times. I did like the SM Jamaican Black Castor Conditioner, I like it for a boost of protein. Will always repurchase the CR CW leave-in very moisturizing. I still love a good empties video. Thank you for sharing.
A couple of years ago I sprayed rosemary water on my scalp everyday for a week, where the hair had thinned out, and new hair started growing in like magic. I still have that new hair, and this is post menopause, so rosemary really is a miracle.
Hey! I got both of these products but if I had paid more attention to the ingredients I wouldn’t have purchased the moisture milk. The glycerin is the 2nd ingredient and it frizzes my hair. Kinda a bummer bc it wasn’t cheap. If you find it works better in the cooler months let us know. I need to use my bottle up somehow between my girls and I but I won’t be repurchasing it. Your hair looked great though on 4th day. Mines didn’t look that great but it does depend on the humidity levels for that day. I had humidity over 70% when I put it in my hair. I’m in Georgia! Also when Mom had hair issues I had her using castor oil. It always corrected the breakage, thinning, bald spot issues, EACH TIME. I have the NLS oil. This is my 1st time ordering it, it’s still fairly new to me, but I’m a NLS fan anyway, waiting on them to bring out a mousse. ❤️….ok I wrote enough 😂❤️
Your hair looked great. I have used both products individually however I find in Missouri humidity it always looks frizzy around day 3 or so. However my hair is still soft and defined.
Hi Rae, hair is beautiful, I have tried this combo for wash and go, but I always moisturize throughout the week because I have fine strands and don’t like the frizz. I had forgot you mentioned the hair loss. I recently got diagnosed with lichen planopilaris, which leaves me with bald spots, but before the diagnosis I used the Mielle oil and hair grew back. I only rub the oil on the particular spots and not the whole head.
I know that this video is 1 year old, but I am just seeing it. Your hair came out great, but I wanted to ask about your glasses. Where did you get them?
This was a great Vlog. Sweet Green is another one of my favorite salad restaurants. I always get their kale salads. I used to look at model homes just to get decorating ideas. Your twist looks cute wearing them out and about. That was a cute purse, and thanks for letting us know how the deodorant worked. I have just a few products, and my beauty room can get out of control, too. Thank you for sharing.
I absolutely love your hair. question, what state are you in? I live in Colorado and I have to saturate my hair because we have no humidity. My second question is what is your go to products when you’re not referencing products what is your go to?
Thank you! I live in Indiana; we do have some humidity. My go to lines are Nature's Little Secret, Eden BodyWorks Lavender line, Camille Rose Original Line to name a few. Check out this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xYG_X_4HYpU.html, it details why I love these lines and more.
@@NaturalRaeRae thank you again, I moved here to Colorado Springs 25 years ago from Chicago and this city is somewhat like a Third World country when it comes to black hair care products so thank you from the bottom of my heart for your videos you have no idea how helpful they are and continue to be. Please keep up the good work. Do you have any suggestions for moisturizing and a dry climate? I have learned from you that I cannot with my natural hair. I cannot go longer than three days with the washing go twist out. Thanks again and I will check out the link once I finish this note.
Hi Rae I liked the look on day one and I don’t care for my hair continuously shrinking up and for that I would not purchase this fixing gel but I still want to try the Tahiti Cocktail Custard with the matching leave in smoothie and if I need more hold since I wash every 7 days I will try with the African Pride Gel as well if I still have some. How do you like your dryer so far? Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I don't like my hair shrinking constantly, either. The Tahiti Cocktail doesn't do that, but it is a stronger hold. I like the dryer. It doesn't get as hot as my other one, which I feel is better for my hair.
@@NaturalRaeRae Great because the top of my head and ears be burning 🥵 😂 so I may have to try that one next when I do purchase one and also the hair nets you suggested to help with my hair flying around.
Nice empties!! You went through a ton of stuff. I tried the popping pineapple collection last weekend and I wasn't a fan of the mask at all 😭 I don't think it's a fan favorite. It's under $6 on amazon. That NLS Lemon shampoo is such a gem, I love it too.
I'm getting through some stuff for sure. The poppin pineapple collection has changed in my opinion. It used to be so moisturizing and now it's just ok. Love NLS.
Rae, you was cooking on this vlog!! You better speak on marriage. As a stay at home wife/mom I 💯 approve this message. Most of the time these women have no husband or do have one and WISH they could stay at home. They are usually deflecting. You said what needed to be said. ❤️
I love the Dove Shea Butter body wash I always go in after with the EOS cashmere vanilla body lotion. It smells delicious and it legitimately last ALL day.
