Just a tip that I use when I do a wash n go. I always rub my leave in and gel on the back of my hand to see if they mix well. If they mix without clumping then I know the products will blend well without flakes.

The thought occurred to me when you showed viewers the product flaking on your strands that perhaps the hemp conditioner combined with the Treluxe leave-in caused a reaction. Hemp seed oil is a natural ingredient that may not combine well with the fermented tomato fruit (acidic) and rice (protein) extracts from the Treluxe product. Just a thought. You did wonders in the end and rocked the curls! Good for you!! Thanks for the demo-video on how to keep cool and save the curls! Ms. ECstreet :)

Beautiful! Eco doesn’t seem to work so well for me anymore. I just learned that your curl pattern can change because of age/hormones 😱 I turned 50 this year and my smoother textured 4a curls have suddenly become coarse, wiry 4b...maybe 4c curls/kinks. Now I’m having to relearn how to manage it. 😖😩. Watching your videos praying my hair gets back to “normal”. 😢 Nothing wrong with tight curls. I just want the hair I knew.

Do you know your hair's porosity?? I have watched so many videos about porosity and get more confused lol I think I have both; my hair tends to look like products are just sitting on it, but it doesn't take long to dry AT ALL. And it is ALWAYS dry no matter how much moisturizing, deep conditioning and protein treatments I do. I'm so frustrated with my hair, but I'm really trying :(

My hair texture is a lot like yours. My hair does great with a serum and then a gel. It works like a charm and no residue. I also would like to see how your hair would like Aunt Jackie's Ice or the other gel she has out with an light leave in or serum.

Your curl circumference looks uniform from front to back!

I think it has to do with porosity. I've seen type 4s use it and it looks good. I have high porosity and MOST of the products people rave about are trash for my hair. When I find a good product I REJOICE cuz its hard for me to find great ones that meet my hair's needs. I have a few that I LOVE and stick to those. My hair loves the manuka honey and mafura line from Shea moisture. I also found a cheap conditioner from the grocery store that my hair LOVES. She also loves castor oil.

I love the hi definition gel but not with that creme. My best wash and go is the uncle funky’s daughter curly magic on soaking wet hair(no leave in) I then use the hi definition gel on top. My curl pattern is like yours and that double gel combo gives me moisture, definition, and hold.

I would try rinsing out your wide tooth comb after the shower because when you don't the product is still in the comb. Starting at 3:50, you could see the products being put into your hair

Damn they don't mix well together? What's the point then lol. I wouldn't worry about when a hair product is white going on. It usually goes away when it dries, at least in my experience.
