I'm so glad they got a new gwl specifically for type 4 hair. Their curling custard use to make my curls look beautiful while wet, but wouldn't last, and it'd sit on top of my hair as little jelly buds. My hair is low porosity, so that explains the buds. I'm willing to give mielle another try. I

Sooo glad you tried the mielle gel. So ima go get it tomorrow. I recently started using their leave in and I was trying to get away from Eco because I feel like it breaks my hair off. So im gonna switch to mielle's gel too. Yay! Your hair is GORGEOUS btw. New sub.❤

This was my first time trying Mielle products but I’m definitely adding some of their products to my routine (hair masque, gel and scalp oil) the one I think helped with my hair growth is Aussie, I’m obsessed lol

Your wash and goes are always perfect, because of you i stock up on the Lustrasilk moisturizer. My hair os soft and has grown so much from using it. In addition i love Mielle hair products, the curling custard is awesome, you should try it sonce you like their gel.❤

You look beautiful and I love the result! Btw, how do you take care of your hair during the week? When I do wash and go, and especially when I dry it with direct heat, my hair becomes so dry and I just want to wash it after two days. Have you had a similar issue? If not, how do you address the dryness? Thank you!

Thank you ! Use the Lustrasilk curl max activator ! It will keep it moisturized and make the curls definition last longer. I add a little bit in my water spray bottle usually on the 4th day (whenever it starts getting dry) ! Hope it helps 💕

What you were experiencing with the Conditioner could have been an effect from the deep conditioner you used before. The Rosemary and Mont is quite a strengthening product so it could have "stiffened" / made detangling more difficult. The conditioner could have done better, no lie, but the lack of softness could be a deep conditioner problem. Not to hate on the Rosemary and Mint deep conditioner, I love it but I have to be more intentional with it

Mielle doesn't work for my hair tbh.. i got the mask but it made my hair dry.. i tried other products to but same thing.. i realized cantu, african pride and aussie work for me but still not every product.. it is challenging to be a natural.. but it is unique to be natural and not everyone's curls or kinks are the same.. took me a long time to realize that. I can't wait to grow it longer and healthier..and fuller

Mielle has bad reviews out about hair damage and falling out. Apparently, the owner sold her company and now people are having trouble with their hair.

It was like that before she sold her company. I think it’s only the rosemary strengthening line that’s taking people hair out. I wonder why it takes some people hair out and others are fine? I saw videos and a lot of bad views about people hair falling out

@@disisreyreyRU-vidr “Tamara’s hair care” filmed her hair loss due to using the strengthening line.. I’ve started using viviscal vitamins, shampoo, & conditioner. I add rosemary to the shampoo & it feels amazing (my scalp feels clean but my hair isn’t stripped). I have type 4 hair & the conditioner glides through my hair. I really recommend checking it out ☺️

On god I don’t like Mielle and I tried my best to support it but my hair was dry and falling out. No other product has done that to my hair other than Aussie moist products. And I was annoyed because I was a broke college student and I spent my last coins on the mielle line just for it to destroy my hair.

I think you need to use Less product and apply more water to the hair so the conditioner emulsifies.

We have to be honest and recognize mixed folks hair vs. 100% African kinky 4C hair...😑 not knocking it but girl your hair was straight before you started. There was no struggle... going to watch actual 4C hair videos with actual African folks 100% 😂
