I had not seen the credit card tape cutter trick before. Thank you so much for sharing it makes it so much easier to use washi.

I found a solution to remove the backing on tape from a hardware supply group. Use an exacto knife to cut a line to form triangle into one of the corners of the backing. Don't push too deep that you end up cutting the tape too. You only want to cut the line into the backing. Peel away the triangle and then the tape will peel away from the backing with no issues. IT WORKS!!! I tried it with my clear washi that I couldn't use because I could not get the backing off no matter what I tried. But this trick is soooo quick, easy and effective.

That's from Simply Gilded. I believe it came in a sub box that I use to get. I especially liked your tip for putting a little piece of washi on washi with backing to help peel off the backing. In the past when I couldn't get the backing off, I would use a glue stick to adhere my washi to my planner page. I will try this tip next time! Tfs.

Hi Desiree thanks for the tips and tricks 😀👍🏽 I have pricked myself with that stupid extraction knife a couple of times 🤬😂 thanks so much for the links i’m going to get the extraction knife your using and one of those cards. 😀very helpful advice. loving your nails btw a pretty color on you. I like the ripped washi look also and that’s how I usually cut my washi overall, but it depends on the spread 😀

I love how you use washi to accent your layouts! Now I feel like the spread isn't finished unless I have some washi too, lol I have been using black and white grid, dots and stripes just to "finish" the layout . I also have the gold and black metal washi cutter from LiveLovePosh too! Also, where did you get the Paris washi tape??

Right? Washi is a must in a lot of my spreads!
