You saved me a lot of money with this. I got a front load washer that started having this problem 3 months ago, right after I had someone relocate the washer. The problem I've been experiencing is that the washer starts well (15-minute quick wash), but just after the first wash before rinsing (around the 11th or 10th minute), it drains the water and starts filling again as it drains. I kept doing a spin only for 12 minutes to try to fix this, but recently, it kept happening every cycle. I raised the outlet hose just a little, and voila... it fixed the problem. Now, I'm looking to raise it permanently. THANK YOU!
Thanks a lot. Was wandering what’s problem with my new washing machine. Could not find the solution elsewhere. Luckily saw this video before calling technician.
Thank you. I was about to call a repairer but then I decided to check on RU-vid and out of all the videos, yours worked without being too technical. Thank you 🙏🏼
thanks.. I also had this problem.. I replaced the level sensor but it didn't help for long. I saw your video so I did the same thing with a standing pipe. and the problem was solved until today
I flip appliances and I thought I bought a scam. I even convinced the seller to refund me. I did some googling and I even ran a diagnostics on it and took the shift actuator out to inspect it. Was about to scrap it then I see this video, and I quickly pull back out the washer to test it and it's working fine now once the drain hose is raised. Thank you. I'll be sure to give the seller her money back and you made me 300 🎉
ffs it be that simple to...then again that explains the standard mounted wall drainers ,you put hose in it. ( i never put the hose in it as it was to far away and saw no real point to it 2y later...) I just dis&reasembled solenoids (np with them or any gunk) got a 4c error.. "water inlet error not filling water quickly enough". would not suprice me if its this simple outlet problem. Thanks for the video
The thing is I always have my hose hanging down over the shower it never drains when I'm filling up .now its draining automatically without me setting it to drain.i hang it up it works but I still can't understand why it starts happening .
Most washers drain hose is designed to be held up. that’s why the original place that is made for washer and dryer, the hose drain exit by the wall is sitting high.
My machine doesn't has this siphoning even though the pipe was laid on the ground for years now. Just today, this siphoning happened. So your solution not logical for my machine. Maybe there is another reason?
In an Airbnb in Accra and it was doing the very same. Owner no idea. Then I watched this. It was the issue. Washers never been used. So it’s now fixed.
