A couple days ago I fished a new stretch of water and had the good fortune of finding solitude--and a good number of fish.
Sometimes when there's a lot of fish around I find myself worked up with anxiety. Some of it's that fun kind of anxiety that has to do with the excitement of catching fish. But there's also some of the selfish kind of anxiety that comes with wanting to have that experience to myself, and to make the most of it before it's over.
I took some deep breaths, realized (remembered?) that enjoying the experience has much less to do with anything other than my own mindset, and spared a few minutes of fishing to setting up the camera to capturing some of the goings on.
I'm not sure how I feel about taking video, especially of myself. But it does speak for itself to a degree, so I hope you like it and let me know what you think!
