It came down to a sprint to the finish between Washington's Evan Jenkins and Gonzaga's Wil Smith in the men's invitational 10,000m at the 2024 Stanford Invitational, but it was Jenkins who came up big with a school record 28:04.58.

These are some of the absolute worst announcers I've ever seen announce a 10k. From not even mentioning 1 athlete in the race until well past 1 mile in, not knowing Cole Sprout was a pacer, talking down on the event in the middle by calling it repetitive. There being a TWO MASSIVE fall in the middle of the race and there was zero mention of it. let's be better.
