Generating pace becomes relatively easier with sidearm action while bowling. I was way more impressed by Waqar Younis' pace and swinging accuracy even with the proper overarm action.

All those attributes were consistent in all 3 legendary pacers but the main thing that pushed them to that stauts was that they were competing daily with each other one over at a time. And they motivated each other to reach their highest and best potential. Never been a more efficcient and consistent trio ever since these masters of the game bro

At that time waqar, Wasim, and Shoaib were greatest fast bowlers. Shoaib was extremely fast. Accuracy of waqar and Wasim were just superb.

Shoaib used to bowl 10 overs in a test match. First innings he would come in take a few wickets in each spell then get injured. Rest of the match Saqlain or Mushtaq ahmed would bowl all day covering for him.

@1:25 Sanath for a moment thought he was facing one of the Indian bowlers... In the early part of Akthar's career there was hardly anyone who picked him correct... Such was the pace and steep bounce. Those deliveries always got big on the batsmen... On the other hand a handful of Indian bowlers never had the power in their shoulders to bowl bouncers yet they kept pitching it short. See some of the innings that Sanath has played against India between 1996- 2001.
