I will admit I did put a like on one off the comments saying amy has lost interest and moaned a lot the other day. Haha, no bro plastering is easy work 💪. Like Grahame said it's easy now compared to years ago without forks. All the labouring was done by hand, the muck, bricks and blocks were on the deck and the hoddies would be running up and down ladders all day with hods of muck and bricks. Must've been fkin hard work, the best hoddies would probably be on a split and get the same money as the bricklayers
When I was hod carrying about 20 years ago there were forklifts and ready mixed darbo on site but it was still a hard job. The brickies don't like to see the hoddy with a minute to themselves and would want jointing up, piecing up, snagging etc done...... Which is fair enough when it's a three way split. I know that brickies train for years and deserve admiration, but a good hoddy makes brickies better money by doing virtually everything but laying.
Love watching you boys, ran a gang myself in younger fitter days. We worked bloody hard, but we never forgot to have fun either. Everything in Australia is built out of recycled shit nowadays! Good to see a trowel used for mud and not belting the top of a brick to get it in place!

Lookup the dewalt xr laser level. Screwfix has them on offer at the moment. I'm trying to convince myself its what I need for when I put up my garden outbuilding this year... but it is $$$ for my DIY stuff
