I really wish someone would should how to do this with a needle for beginners cause everyone does not know how to crochet including myself this is the part I’m having trouble with. very helpful for ppl that can crochet not for the ppl that don’t

Nice tutorial, and I get most of it, but I don't understand how you are using it for a hat, if both ends are woven closed. Help me understand, please?

Oh sure! If you're making a hat, you'd simply knit or crochet your open edge and only seam one side closed.
