Hello everyone! This is an old time classic. Though the solo is considered to be "easy", it's not. It has a couple of tricky parts and you need to practice a bit to make it sound right. @@songtutorial Actually, you were right! When I listened to the isolated guitar tracks, it's evident that the empty string is pm. Besides, it seems to me that you relied more on Adrian's part than Dave's. This is evidenced by the fact that in the verse riff, Adrian slides from C5 to D5 in the 20th bar, while Dave slides from G5 to D5. Just like Dave plays in Iron Maiden live performances now, and most of the covers on RU-vid also follow this same approach. This is probably the best lesson of Wasted Years I've seen. @@23Mati Exactly, I focused on Adrian's part. I'm impressed that you payed attention to the detail. So, let me reveal another "easter egg": In bars 56-57 Dave actually plays a barre C Sus4 chord (5th fret on 3rd string, not open 3rd string). It's a small detail, but it's there. 🙂🙂🙂
