The amazing #วัดแม่ตะไคร้ #WatMaeTaKhrai has two parts:
On one side of the road is two stunning images of revered monk Khuba Siwichai (more info on this beloved monk here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khruba_.... The statues are still under construction and you can make merit by purchasing items that will be used in the making of the statues.
On the other side of the road is a "Hell Temple", with grotesque and twisted depictions of hell. (Some of you may remember this other bizarre and creepy Hell Temple I filmed a few years ago: • Wat Mae Kaet Noi: The ... )
Certainly a fascinating place to visit! Additionally, the roads and views around here are really wonderful.

(Oh, one thing to mention about this temple is that none of the coin-operated parts work - at least not the ones I tried. The other temple (link in the description above) DOES work, and produces a very creepy sound and light show and a few animatronic effects)
