Wat Phra Kaew, or else known as Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is located on the grounds of the Grand Palace in Bangkok. It is the most revered Buddhist shrine in Thailand.
The Temple was completed in 1784, but the statue of the Emerald Buddha has much longer history, going back to beautiful legends.
Recorded February 2015 in 4K (Ultra HD) with Sony AX100. Edited with Adobe Premiere Pro CC.

What truly amazes me is the gold spires/stupas.There is a picture of one golden pyramid-shaped stupa which may show the magic of the pyramids when gold. The fire like links of flames on the rooves like dragons breath...amazing! All the stuff to heaven in the clouds...the thing that moved me was the phallic idea on the temple so sacred masculine féminine design and ontop the entrance to the temple door to mating female-masculine energies... The fronds...heavenly vision...wonders at what cost the price of gold everywhere?

Excellent ! I was just there. I still remember the slip in and slip out of shoes to go in the temples. But, what I miss most is the “mango and sticky rice”. Yummy! 👍

+John Cywinski Thank you! No problems with the filming, but I do not remember if I used tripod. I used for sure one in 2003 on my first visit there, but this is hardly relevant today. Sorry couldn't help much with that...
