@@rothbardfreedom They organize their playlist based on the size of the venue, if they're playing on a festival or large stage they play the big epic songs like Stellarvore and Waters of Ain, on smaller venues like bars and clubs they play the shorter and faster tracks, for example on their smaller performances they ended the show with The Serpent's Chalice.
@@Falxifer95 I understand time availability as a decisive reason for picking songs X or Y; and maybe the technical effects available. But, ceteris paribus, picking due the number of people... makes no sense to me - specially in Black Metal; it's basically the same people, acting on the same manner.

Majority of bands have their own Front of House Engineers and they either bring their own Console or request the one they tour with if the gig is a one off.
That stench at my first Watain show in Texas was nothing I had ever experienced before at countless metal shows. I lifted my head and took deep inhales through the nose. It was incredible.
They sound so much better with Pelle on bass not so much this year when Eric had to do it because of Visa issues . They still kick ass but Pelle is simply a better bassist . This is proof .

By far the best Swedish Black Metal band today . The only others on their level would be Dissection and Dark Funeral . Watain has an aura and stage presence that can't be matched.
Not in the slightest. Even way before I got into black metal I’d hear their name come up a lot. They’re definitely up there in popularity and recognition.

As far as I know yes.Seen them 3xs..one time at the end of their tour..they smelled so bad..their clothes are kept in the same cooler as the rotten sheep heads...the stage hand put the set together wearing rubber gloves to his wrist and a gas mask..the smell was overwhelming to say the very least..their clothes just coverd in putrid slime..about threw up on a guy in front of me..Valkarija is another band that has the same aesthetic ..

ich mags gar nicht sagen, aber nach Sworn To The Dark und zwei, drei Songs auf Lawless Darkness ist von diese Kaschperln musikalisch nichts mehr gekommen. Das grandios peinliche Geplapper auf der Live - DVD sagt wohl alles. Schade um die einst so geile Band. Go fuck your northern gods!

Truthfully i'm not really all that into black metal, but these guys are pretty sick. i dig their sound. i keep watching this video over and over.. i don't buy into all the satan crap though, that's all just alice cooper hocus pocus in my eyes. just shock value.
