I hate animal research with a passion. I'm a rescuer and an animal rights activist. This was not the place to speak out about it. We have effective campaigns and organizations to do that. We have had some successes. Envigo was shut down. I am positive MTG never cared one iota about lab experiments on animals until she thought she could use it to make some kind of skewed point. What has MTG said about her buddy Noem shooting a dog in the face and a goat for no other reason than rage? Silence on that though. MTG is a hypocrite.

for what its worth, those beagles where strapped so they could not move. Inside of the boxes where their heads were, were flesh/brain eating insects. Then, even the one thing that could have saved his reputation as a ding-a-ling: fast tracking the vaccine, fell apart immediately when he suggested his rally-goers get the shot and they booed causing him to instantly cave in and say, "If you want to". He couldn't even back up his own product (well, he had nothing whatsoever to do with the development of it, but you know what I mean).

Saw it all on C-Span and am thoroughly disgusted too. Many Banana Republicans used the hearing to mercilessly harangue Dr Anthony Fauci, in order to rewrite history, without even giving him the opportunity to respond. He is a hero who saved many, whilst Trump's criminal negligence shall go down in history as the sole reason for the unnecessary deaths of an innumerable number of Americans. No doubt, most of them Republicans.
