Thanks, great insight on DR Horton's somewhat unique approach. We're going down to the Orlando area, where they have numerous developments in progress and it helps to know that their timeframe will differ greatly from others due to their partially built approach when selling. Downside to that is that we're visiting with the anticipation of moving in 8-12 months out, and I don't see how that would work with DR Horton.
Could certainly find something that works & just plan to make a move on it later. Let me know if you need an agent down there - I’ve got a great one that I’m friends with!
DR Horton is awful! Be careful before you make your decision when you purchase from DR Horton. They have very bad warranty services. They refuse to fix the problems coming from the construction. Very bad company.
