I am a Democrat, I voted for Kamala, I hate Trump. But I listened to Biden's speech, and it sure seems that he referred to Trump supporters as garbage. But if you listen to the rest of that speech, you will see that he had trouble expressing himself, he was groping for the correct word, sometimes uttering the wrong word. I believe he did refer to Trump supporters as garbage, but it is not characteristic of him to do so. I believe he said this in the heat of the moment, and as a result of his stuttering problems. This one incident is not consistent with his long-term character. On the other hand, this is exactly the kind of the thing that Trump would say, and it is consistent with _his_ long-term character. Many Republicans want to separate Trump's hateful manner from his policies (which are actually terrible) which they seem to like. Of course, his manner is a direct reflection of his core character, it is not something that can be conceptually separated from him.
Tony is a roast comedian. It was ment as a joke, not hateful. Unfortunately that wasnt a proper setting for comedy. As a Latino, I honestly gove 0 fks about what Tony said. It was a mediocre joke and i didnt think it was funny. I simply disnt get butthurt and just moved on.
