ABOLISH ALL BI, INCOMPETENT, STUPID, CORRUPT, PATI EMPLEYADO MAGNANAKAW, MANDURUKOT PA. HINDI PINAG IISIPAN POLICIES.. MAKE IT A LAW FIRST PARA MAPAGARALA EFFECT SA ECONOMY, PROS AND CONS BAGO NYO IPATUPAD.
It is clearly not a free country, you get the same treatment in North Korea and Afghanistan. It’s a shame that your country is the same as the worst countries in the world.
Be specific of what is considered "red flags,"... immigration officers may have different understandings on what is "red flags," and "regular tourist."
immigration Process during "departure dates" should NOT in any way create UNnecessary delays or even OFFloading situations... Filipinos should have a Gov't that promotes FREEDOM to travel IN n Out of PH.. That holding a PH passport means something.. Its has Privileges & Power behind it.. Its powers emanates from OUR Gov't ability to backUP & assist US here & everywhere in the World..
This should not be experienced by all Filipinos . First of all our country is a democratic country. how come these officials taken the human rights of every Filipino individual. So sad😢
It's called delaying tactics, kung Mahina pakiramdam mo ma missed mo talaga flight mo.
The poor reporter tried so desperately to get Spokesperson Dana Sandoval to explain this, but her "word salad" amounted to nothing. Sandoval only muddied the waters. Sure, if you are just a "regular tourist" you need not worry. But when you get to the airport, if Immigration challenges you you need to provide more information and documentation which you will not have with you at the airport on day of travel. Sandoval's interview appeared totally useless to me. Sad.
Well said. It's easy for them to say that traveler's need not to worry if they have legit travel intention without considering the fact that IO holds the judgement and that IO's judgement may be subject to biases. Bottomline, you need to prepare those additional documents.
And if you arrive without those additional documents and you are flagged for second interview, ano na? In the end you'll still end up bringing those docs just to be safe
I saw this comment on another post: Article III, Section 6 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution guarantees the liberty of travel, which shall not be impaired except in the interest of national security, public safety, or public health, as may be provided by law. The additional requirements of the Bureau of Immigration imposed on outbound Filipinos are UNCONSTITUTIONAL ⚠️🚫⛔️”
😅BI has been imposing their own regulations and requirements which is for the good of travelers. But some requirements are not needed. Too much requirements is annoying. 😢
Please tell us who are the politicians who made those laws so that we will never vote for them anymore! If our politicians now will not fix this, don't vote for them anymore!
In the news before, it was mentioned that a total of 30,000 plus was offloaded last year but only more than a 1000 people were found to be human trafficking. So human trafficking individuals is a very small percentage compared to those who lost their hard earned money. 😢
@@mirzar8695this is really alarming. Imagine the numbers of offloaded individuals which do not belong to human trafficking is higher than than those involved. This is so sad😢
Naninigurado siempre traveler napakamahl ng airfare pa nam sa ngayon so whether u like it or not ALL Filipino will prepare this documents.
Please answer who will pay for thousands of Filipinos that may or have been wrongfully offloaded here? The second interview has chances of not able to board and if they dont have ready access to their bank and other requirement this will be against the right of Filipino to travel. We insist body camera from immigration so we can use this evidence when we are offloaded wrongfully. We hope someone must question this activity to Supreme court this too much police power than a court of justice prone to abuse to very right of Fil to travel guraantteed by const. Filing a case to IO who wrongfully offload Fil is lengthy process and additonal burden cost of losses and hayaan nlng? We hope DICT can get the record of how many of Fil passenger offloaded in every airline for past 2 yrs so we can quantify the seriousness of this immigration activity. sa bawat 100 ba ilan ba naredflag nyo at naiwan ng flight pero naclear , natrauma sa bakasyon and ilan un walng company ID, ready bank cert?....etc -di nyo pinaalis para makasama mga family ng OFW, or kasi backpacker hotel lng ?
Yes! Victim husband ko last year..dyan sa mga BI ng Terminal 1, nasayang ang 60k ticket going back sa US..kesyo natagalan ehh galing Pandemic tayo naghanap sila ng clearance..na trauma husband ko.. ohhh bili ulet ticket this time terminal 2, aba pag daan sa BI ni walang hinanap na other documents Passport lang that's all..dB ka Loka..pinagastos lang ng todo..pera pera lang talaga immigration pati sa mga foreigner, binibiktima nila dapat me mag check dyan sa departamentong yan. kanila..ang tindi ng Corruption...
Kaya nga ini english lang pero the final point, the same walang naiba.
Philippine Immigration Bureau has become a circus of craziness. seriously guys?? if mag offload kayo, at least ibalik nyo pamasahe ng mga travelers. Filipinos shouldn't be punished just because the officer is "convinced" of the "pattern" ek ek nyo.
No JUSTICE!
anong no change eh technically anyone can be subjected to a second check so that means you still need to prepare those documents just in case or risk offloading... eto dapat tinanatanong sa kanila eh tingnan natin kung may maisagot sila
Only in the Philippines you will be screened as a passenger/tourist. That is the job of the receiving country!!! Let them travel!!! It's their "RIGHT" .
Why not just incorporate the checking before the Filipinos go to the airport? It will just add more hardships to everyone flying. Why not ask owwa or dfa to have a stricter ruling on people who plans to work abroad? Why not have coordination with countries that trafficking happens? You cannot say that only 5% is affected because as a traveler, you make sure that you won’t forget anything.
The problem here is paano ba masasabi ng IO na eto pasahero na ito is regular traveler aside from maraming beses na siyang naka-biyahe? Kasi as far as I know, marami din ang nase-secondary interview kahit may previous travels na eh. So paano na?
Persons with red flags and regular tourist travellers are vague categories. My understanding maybe different from the bureau of immigration. Thiis vagueness is the gray area susceptible to a lot of misunderstanding. Paano if five or ten years ago ang last flight, are they considered regular travellers? Syempre d sila first time traveller. If nagkaroon ka ng secondary screening before pero pinalipad ka, are you a person on a red flag? If may history ka 10 years ago na d ka pinalipad, are you still considered as a red flag? Paano if ang cash mo sa bank is 50k and pupunta ka ng thailand as a budget traveller for the second time, would they scrutinize the 50K during the screening? Suggestion lang, dapat may time in and time out ang pag interview simula ng pag pull out for 2nd interview para maliwanag if kasalanan ba ng BOI ang pag delay ng flight. Protection yun to both parties. Not just the paasenger pati sa BOI para two ways.
the problem is IO at the airport is not giving a bias judgement when it comes to tourist visa holder. Their judgement is based on their OWN OPINION and not on the fact. Thay's why andaming na offload or naiiwan ng flyt. Only in the phils na andaming hinihinging reqs sa mga tourist visa holder. Wether regular travelers na ang iba. So, saan ang word nyo na mas PINADALI and walang nabago ang process???? 🙄🙄🙄 As if your IO will be accountable once di maka alis ang isang tourist, apparently puro kayo under INVESTIGATION. 👊👎👎
6:46 sucking up to IACA because the gov gets funding for meeting minimum requirements. Ang tinatanong, how to prevent extortion. What happened to the last viral case? Reassigned lang yung IO.
@ANC 24/7 ,., The reporter should field question and comments from viewers before he got BI spokesperson on the phone for interview. I remember some BI officials ask for crazy proofs like their college yearbook, bank account, money to support themself while on vacation. Because if the travelers is denied, they will lose money on plane tickets, hotel reservations/bookings.
Question is, for what?
Why dont the ofws file theirnrequirements online.. to avoid intimidation and temptaion on corruption by the bi officers.. And just give a BI clearance to be issued online too and deliver the original to the concerned ofw That way u avoid face to face encounters.. an easy way of avoiding another reason for corruption Besides due to unending qustions by the BI officers in the airport.. the poor ofw might miss their flight ..
lock of training or knowledge about their work, I think they are disobeying the law of travel and, worse, power-tripping to our Kababayans; they are giving you a lot of shit before you enjoy your vacation.
Does their office have data of all passengers that was offloaded before that dont match their requirements so we could check if it is really their basis.
Ang oa ng requirements. Kelangan ng PSA ano ba yan baligtad. Dapat yung mga pumapasok don sila mahigpit. Kakaiba talaga.
For protection vs power tripping officers & verbal abuse of passengers. Bakit hanggang ngayon wala nito?
Kaya pala! Magkano ba ang kailangan?PBBM nasaan ka? Nagtrabeling na naman? Ayusin mo muna an problema sa bansa!
Stanely, you should have should have been questioned Sandoval answers further. Her answers amount to nothing and the interview became pointless. In spite of all these measures in place, how many people have been trafficked this year? How many people get abused and killed overseas? How many Filipinos are undocumented overseas? Then compare the metrics to other labor-deploying countries vis-a-vis their equivalent regulations... It's time to revamp the policies and abolish these counterproductive guidelines. Filipinos are losing jobs to other nationalities and more Filipinos have resorted to other avenues resulting to further risks of financial loss, harm and exploitation.
release the guidelines right away. How we would know that we are red flags. You said a lot of words but still you haven't clarify the needed documents so as not to reach the second interview.
Bulok talaga eh.
PAG MAHIRAP KA AT NAG IPON KA LANG PANG BAKASYON MO BAWAL KANG UMALIS HAHA bawal lumabas ang mahihirap pang mayaman lang ang mag out of the country 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It seems like she is insisting this "Red Flags" as requirements without clarity. Is she saying that all passengers that was offloaded before didn't match their documents?
Tbh, this is just repetitive answers. Expectation vs reality, when you're at the airport anything can happen. Some are trying to find their ways to extort, some ask for more documents when you've done your part etc.
I really like to trust what they are saying... but why can't I? I hope this is not another way Immigration Officers can extort money from the OFW and tourists alike...
financial capacity question.. medyo malabo sagot nyo mam… initially may listed docs na po kau binigay… tapos nasa IO pala ang last resort kung tatanungin cla kung anu trabaho… so dapat ilagay pa din sa required docs ung proof of employment?
