Let hope so. Citadel and other multibillion dollar companies and people are the ones who selected our leaders. They literally help write the laws and regulations that are never enforced. ALL the markets are totally manipulative and NOTHING is ever done about it. If you have been following the GME/AMC Saga you would see it. It’s been in everybody’s face. They are literally ruining the American markets. The millennials and gen z investors are watching. Each day that goes by with no action is causing damage to the credibility of the US markets. The manipulation has been going on for decades but now they do it right in your face and people are seeing it. Naked short selling costs the American people trillions and trillions of dollars.The good thing is a lot of people had no idea what that even meant but now more people are waking up to it. Right now we don’t have a free market. If you think we do then you are delusional. But what do I know. I do know if this guy does his job AMC and GME will produce thousands of millionaires. It will be the biggest transfer of wealth in history. Even bigger than the transfer of wealth we have witnessed during the pandemic.

Talk about stepping to the side of easy questions. If they were really about protecting the public, they’d be all up in Citadel’s business. Hopefully they step aside in this same manner when Citadel is margin called and needs to buy back ALL of those synthetic shares they created in hopes of displacing and a diluting screwing over retail investors. It makes my stomach turn when I hear anything about protecting the public/investors. Obviously he plays both sides and is a paid shill.

@@Avicena-tf5uj I doubt ETH will be deemed a security, someone at the SEC years ago unofficially spoke to this and his opinion was that Ethereum wasn’t a security. I agree though, Ethereum should have been ruled a security years ago.

He gave lectures on blockchain at MIT a couple of years ago.

@@Avicena-tf5uj 8 years ago it might have been a security as Eth was in the beginning back in 2014 as well, and many other crypto's for that matter. Any time there is innovation or a new space it takes time and clarity from the SEC, Congress. Neither has helped the USA in this regard. XRP has not been a security for over 7 years. Maybe if our government had not been passing the buck in fear of making the wrong decisions we would have clarity in the space instead of being behind. XRP has been a utility token for years. The question of decentralization is another matter. Don't sleep on XRP it will come out of this mess with clarity and much stronger. The publicity will only enhance its reputation all over the world.
