Our son had all his business tools & equipment stolen, valued at £1000’s, from his van. He had cctv evidence, found the home of the perpetrators & reported this theft with the information to the police. The police refused to pursue the crime even though they had effectively been given all the evidence to make an arrest. Nothing was done & guess what the thieves continue their thieving unabated. The conclusion is that the police are not fit for purpose, effectively encouraging crime through their lack of interest and action, but OK at dancing in the street or arresting people silently praying. They are just laughable

When on duty they are supposed to be doing a job - ensuring safety & upholding the law. They are supposed to remain impartial -not showing support to one side or another ( what they do when off duty is their business). All that is required of the police is to do their job properly & act professionally.

Whilst on duty they should be a calm presence observing the scene for any disorder. I dont care what it is, st georges day, pride, packistan indendence day. Regardless of the event. The police should not be dancing and partying whilst on duty, full stop. They should also not be showing any political alligiences. The police are starting to look like university students dressing up as police officers on a night out. Why is no one in the police force or government doing anything about this complete breakdown in discipline? Why is this so normalised?
