The arrest happened on June 29 in Bear, Delaware.
Cell phone video that circulated on social media captured part of the arrest when the cops were seen aggressively restraining the woman and punching her after she was wrestled to the ground."

Then claimed "we thought they were on drugs" when it was found out that they severely injured me because they couldn't tell the difference between a person resisting arrest and having an Epileptic Seizure. Because of that, I have a severe phobia of police. It's called "Capiophobia" and I literally have panic attacks if a cop comes near me. How do we know she wasn't terrified of that cop because of how they behave? Dealing with a cop is like playing Russian Roulette.

I just watched a cops brother, that police were called for disorderly conduct, and being intoxicated in public. He cussed each cop out, threatened them, and continued yelling cussing at them. They were very apologetic and patient, with the cop’s brother. He was never tased, shot, grabbed forcefully, cussed back at, even though he pointed his finger and threatened the cops with bodily harm. His brother even came out to the scene. This man had a history of drugs, and public intoxication, and beat someone up at a bar. They, the cops, all knew his name, and knew his brother worked with them… They are only forceful like this with black people. They need to start letting black people police their own. You don’t see this many black police officers in white neighborhoods policing them… Laws need to change on policing…

De-escalation really needs to prioritized within the police forces all around the country, but she still should’ve just followed the officer’s command to exit the vehicle..

Ok, so she's being pulled over for multiple violations; 1) why not call for a tow and issue the tickets so everyone can go about their day? 2) why is it that every time they come in contact with a black person, violence is the only option? 3) what kind of P.O.S. punches a woman in her face and pulls her hair when she's not a threat to him? 4) when a supervisor is requested, why not just oblige? 5) why does it take multiple bullies to attack one individual, ALWAYS?

Wow, it’s getting worse! People say why black ppl don’t shut up & do what cops say? Why are black men & women treated differently! @@ablearcher4058 She stepped out of the car without being dragged. It was only after she got out that they began brutalizing her. The whole “let go of his foot!” thing, which was the pretense for throwing punches, was bullshit. This woman was no threat to them. And FYI, cops can’t just order you out of a vehicle for no reason during a traffic stop (though many think they can). That is only lawful if they reasonably believe y you are *both* armed *and* dangerous. They had no reason to think either of those were true of this woman.

28+ years in law enforcement and plenty was wrong with this encounter. If you ask for a supervisor, I'm going back to the cruiser and wait until one arrives....end of story...escalating things doesn't make sense...... unless your ego is bruised, such as in this case. During my time working before I retired, I'd just write the dam ticket and leave. That's all it takes......doesn't matter if you sign it or not because my copy still gets sent to the courts and if you don't respond well then the courts will handle things. These police officers were annoyed that a Black Woman talked back to them, and they wanted to beat her AZZ and teach her a lesson. Use of force should be done any time you put your hands on someone, and not after. This incident should cost the city dearly.

It's called abuse of authority! You'll see blacks doing it also. They'll break laws and say that they are doing their jobs. Some of it is racial prejudice, some of it person vendetta, some of it is ignorance of what the law is, and some of it is pride and abuse of authority. But there are some very good officers out there it's just that their hands are tied because of workplace politics. The same way our hands are tied in our workplaces, on our everyday jobs.

I have had jerk cops and arrested for disorderly conduct and I am white ... The cops were also white.. I tried all of this she is doing and got arrested for disorderly conduct.. they grabbed me and threw me to the ground I was so scared.. long story short I had bruising all over my body in different areas . Then they took me to the hospital to cause further trauma.. by the time they were done my arms looked like I was a junkie from being handcuffed to the hospital bed . They got a warrant to test me for drugs and alcohol even tho I was sober.. It happens to white people by white officers too.. no one should endure this by civil servants.. officers are supposed to work for us.. I am so sorry she was abused by the badge and traumatized ❤ I just want it known that yes it could be a race issue or it could be abuse of power or little bit of both.. this happens to citizens of all colors tho...
