It is kind of ironic and heartwarming that every fan of the franchise missed Aiden Pearce after everyone called him a blank slate and generic on the first game.
watch dogs 2 was the first game i played, then went to play the first and didnt like aiden, also thought he was generic and his voice was bland. but then playing him in this makes me regret hating him because he is a fucking badass
Kinda like Desmond in the AC franchise. A lot of people didn’t like his character and called his gameplay segments boring. When they killed him off in AC3, the same people started complaining saying they miss him.
@@TheBaxes People gave him shit for having a cold personality but he was a grieving man who did what he had to do to protect his loved ones. Did they expect him to be charismatic?
@@villiannewyork exactly I think it’s more realistic he’s a good character and one of my favourites he deserves more love he was a broken man but you saw with Clara he was still a good person just broken I hope he comes back
If you haven't learned that already from Borderlands and other games, main characters can die in cutscenes. But by playing with them they're so op. Game logic.
@@xXSilentAgent47Xx same with Yakuza. Kiryu's almost impervious to bullets throughout the entirety of your gameplay, but the moment he gets shot in a cutscene, he's fucked for a few hours
@@Infinitywolf23 to be fair it can be hard to resonate with the characters you’re playing as considering you’re basically an NPC. Every side character from my perspective seemed cool but lacked so much depth compared to the first two games. Only character I personally thought was well developed and felt attached too was the AI.
You feel less like a main character and more like a side character sometimes, I get what they were going for with the NPC recruitment but we shouldve gotten some actual characters to play as.
@@nickatnight9671 This as muscle atrophy is the most common thing among coma patients. Its why nurses do physical therapy by moving their limbs and body so as to decrease the chance of longterm damage or muscle atrophy.
Doesn’t necessarily mean the end of Aiden Pearce tho, it’s just the end of his fixer life. On top of that they should really have Jackson playable especially after this tease level and on top of that get his costume The legacy cosmetic bundle
@@DgardsGaming I agree on making Jackson playable and I am also curious what is jackson doing after the events of bloodline, I want to know what Aiden could be doing before the main story of Legion takes place
@@DgardsGaming same, he idolized her in bloodline, what about in the events of legion though, would it still remain the same? That also made me wonder as well
@@adaman.shr.3538 yep ever noticed how hacker visions is similar to eagle vision and in one of the early assassin Creed games there his a assassin called la volpe laten of the fox then his that same name was taken up by one of his descendants aka Aiden Pierce aka the fox
Aiden pearce is one of the best game characters ever, people thought he was bland and stuff, but i saw him as a grieving man who did what he had to do and had no regret in it (sort of). he is as cold as John wick and Batman.
@@blobzthief9551 I said that about Aiden before WD2 and WDL. lol. If they are going to revive the franchise and actually have it live up to its potential, then they build the story around Aiden, Jackson, Wrench and someone from WDL. Gotta try and find a way to weave everything in together but actually push the bloodline narrative.
@@Kazzy234 apparently in the main story, it is said they don't care anymore after seeing what kind of person she was to her mother and eventually what they learn about Bagley.
Bloodline does not take place exactly before the main campaign. It takes place RIGHT AFTER the London bombings, because you can hear in the game that somebody (idk who, not an npc but some side characters talks about it, and theres already albion all over the place). So theres that. You can say that when Aiden got to London, it was just a few hours or days after the bombings, so dedsec was just forming again there. AND there was already Albion
Hello the last character is an assassin 😅 Not to mention the last two games and I’m sure this one but I haven’t paid attention had plenty of references to it
How tf do people not like Aiden. He was like a tragic Batman-esque character to me. Driven to stop all levels of crime after a tragedy that involved his family. Consumed by the needs of vengeance and directing it towards delivering justice. Extremely intelligent, a great tactician and combatant. Badass as hell. Strictly business most of the time but can at times show his emotional side when it comes to his loved ones. On surface level he seems like the "bland, boring" character but if you really paid attention to his character in the first game he's a very complex character. There's a lot of similarities with him and Batman actually. He purposely puts himself in this delusion that his real identity is The Fox and Aiden is just the mask. In order to cope with his grief he willingly falls into this never-ending lop sided battle. Instead of trying to move on from his grief he clings to it and uses it as motivation to do something impactful. I wish Ubisoft saw the potential they had in Aiden. Them steering off into another direction instead of just simply expanding on Aiden's story is the same mistake when they moved on from Ezio in the Assassin's Creed franchise.
@mentelgen-1337 Hell it's funny if you think about it... Back in 2012 people didn't care about Desmond miles, And so they brought him back in Valhalla as... "The Reader" In 2013, people didn't care for Aiden Pearce.. Now they brought him back because he became popular again... I Loved Aiden Pearce in the first game... Guy was like John Wick, and basically exposed Corruption in Chicago.. I liked him
@@Mangaka_Library the more i watch videos/see where society leads us the more i want tragedies back, "People" like these dont deserve happiness. all the saints row haters claiming its a gta clone even tho its a competitor bringing the franchise to ruins. i still blame the people for it. even if the devs are at fault for not returning to the original money printer. gangs.
@@Mentelgen-1337 I.. Would blame company's and sometimes the fans.. I played ALOT of games that were considered either Copy cats Like Dante's Inferno and Castlevania: Lord's of Shadow.. because their style of gameplay were similar to God of war 3.. But They both knock it out of the park with their story's and gameplay.. And then Medal of Honor, the originals like Frontline and Rising Sun.. I loved those games Mostly because back then, We didn't have Micro-transactions.. we had DLC's that were Epic Skins, or it was a expansion on the story.. Or an Entirely different New Character to play as..
@@Mangaka_Library lets be real i am just to mad at the haters... the company is 80% to blame from this shitstain... hell sr2 was supposed to be ben king and julius in the 80s but it was scrapped because of devs lazyness...
@@qu1v3r I think they should have did like gta5 did, be able to play as aiden, ray Kenny, Marcus and wrench too, I think playing as anyone was too much
this game supposedly takes place in 2030 so wrench (presuming he’s born in the same year as marcus) would be about 38 now around the same age as aiden in the first game edit: found out the game takes place in 2029 thx to aiden confirming the timeline my bad
10:22 Ah, he will hunt Marcus? A little did he know that Marcus solo killed multiple enemies? Marcus can even kill all the police, if he wants to (talking about players that are high skilled)
Yes, you can recruit them both. Once you get the DLC downloaded and boot up the main story Bagley will contact you about two new recruits. They'll both be outside Connie's pub to recruit.
@@lost4356 they are both playable in the main campaign, i’m sure they are definitely going to be generic though apart from hopefully the dialogue is different and unique.
You can't see them, but they were mentioned in the game and there's a side mission called Devon v Devin: London Culling where Wrench and Marcus were finishing the movie set up together. You can see the image of his face during the mission.
Guess you never played the entire game properly. At the beginning, it clearly says: "Zero Day bombings have sent London into chaos., First incarnation of London DedSec is destroyed, Second is yet to rise." But I guess it was too much for your peanut brain to process...
I think they skipped/transitioned ahead for the sake of time. I don't think anyone would want to watch a cutscene filling an entire hole, especially that size for that long. It's just unnecessary.
I’ve always loved Aiden’s character lol he never was bland or generic. His story made watch dogs enjoyable and I prefer the first game over watch 2 and legion. I’m glad they added him legion my dude is Op lol.
Well...if you look into people killed by Aiden you may find some people related to a company called abstergo which conveniently has a technology called "animus" that may solve your so called "mind fixing" problem
@@nickthelonewolf9909 Isn't he fifty or so by now? Plus, he's been doing this for over 15 years. That has got to take a toll, physically and mentally. He's just lucky to be alive.
@@Cloofinder Aiden needs to still be too but yea they pretty much teased Jackson with his costume part of Legacy cosmetics bundle, if they have no intention to make him a playable character in this game why do that. 😅
