Tesla CEO Elon Musk gives a company update at its annual shareholders meeting. Hear him weigh in on Battery Day, AI Day and its global EV factories. Musk also announces he's moving its headquarters to Austin, Texas.
This is what I value. Hearing about all of this from Elon himself rather than other people’s synopses and compilations of tidbits about what he’s up to.
Thanks Elon Unfortunately you are the only CEO at I currently hear speaking with the best intentions for our small planet and implementing it as best you can. Inspirational. Thank you.
@@patrickr2686 the planet doesn't need to be cared for. It's not the planet they don't care for. It's themselves and their children most of all they don't care about.

Simply outstanding, what a great human being Elon is, making the autonomous driving system available on license .. really fantastic and what a contrast to a bumbling government and windbag politicians !
i disagree. Tbh I lost all faith in Elon Musk as a man over that business in Thailand. Much as I had been interested in electric cars development, and was kinda impressed with his previous financial innovations, his terrible judgement and desire to destroy a man simply because he had better expertise at cave rescue, sickened me.
I remember watching a documentary several years ago about Elon working to get the first model of the Tesla out to the customers that ordered them and there were a lot of issues, etc. It's so great to see Tesla doing well. I became an Elon fan back then when I saw how dedicated he was to keeping his word to the people that invested in his car company early on. Just really great to see Elon and his electric car company doing well.
probably not, Look at any great men, they do their part and leave, rest is up to other to carry on his/her work/legacy. Now I hope this will not be the case with elon
This guy manages to head one of the top 10 publicly valued companies, while simultaneously managing to head one of the top 5 privately valued companies in SpaceX. It's just insane when you really think of the workload and pressure he must face every quarter.
@@katekilgannon3567 and what exactly is he doing? He didn't invent what he gives himself credit for. He thinks he invented the electric car, digital payments and space travel. What he really did was to commercialize those things that already existed.
Nobody can become financially successful over night. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals.
It is not always fear. Sometimes realistic factors discourage people from reaching their goals in life. For instance, I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value.
@@Jme--- This is the problem! Most times people with little or no knowledge of the stock market try investing by themselves. It once happened to me, then I learned my lesson and contacted a US-based finance consultant by name SAMANTHA LEIGH WENTLAND and everything changed. I started enjoying huge returns from my investment.
@@Patriciacraig599 Really? Well, I used to have a professional but his license was withdrawn along the line, so I continued on my own. Anyway, how can I reach your adviser or someone as good?
Elon Musk no longer need the support from the entire world today...he already proven himself...those who believe in him in the early days are doing quite well, my uncle own $70millions worth of Tesla stocks, small amount of holding for some worth hundreds of millions...I didn't by until i was about $200 before the stock split, so I'm doing okay, my husband love his model 3, and I will soon trade in my 2020 Hylander Hybrid for a model Y... Never will I purchase another ICE car.
I admired Elon Musk for his sooo hardworking and passionate about his work . One in a million people have this ,he dont defend his successes with all his employees, he study ,learned and help them to be a part of hardship .
Yes marvellous - Tesla.... not the car.... was stopped in those very tracks - if it's being 'allowed' now.... then there's more to it than 'saving' this little earth!!

I'm minutes outside of Austin and I would be honored to meet him in person. He is my inspiration and the more I hear him talk, the more I understand a big part of myself. 😊 Lifetime fan here.
@@robertfeeley9738 Your 20% is 5 x lower than the true number. I've never met a lawyer that was not a white collar criminal, a thief, a confidence trickster, a liar, lazy, disorganised, underhanded, a lousy boss, terrible manager, self-centred, narcissistic, pompous, posturing and avariciously mean and frugal. Applies to both sexes equally.
A visionary that uses natural resources - sun, wind, minerals - and human ingenuity for mankind in an optimum, effective and sustainable way. Fantastic.
I've watched a lot of CEO presentations over the years. They invariable involve some smooth taking guy making a swish and polished speech in an expensive suit. Elon comes across as the real deal... Like an engineer as opposed to some suit in a PR exercise. Lots of ums and ahs but that makes him more plausible and believable.
This is any investor's dream. The numbers are so great that anybody would like to double their stakes on the company. And that's exactly what's happening with Tesla currently.
@@harshtapadia7500 well, he was great no doubt. Even though he didn't akcowledge AC current from Nikola Tesla. Also, he didn have to compete with any incumbent businesses in many areas. You could say he was picking low having fruit from what a lot of scientists of the day and before him had invented. He was good at getting it to market though. I believe Elon is at a hole new level. Self landing rockets, disrupting space, boring, electrification of transport, AI. Combining knowledge from different disperse businesses.
@@georgeionescu6425 Well, it seems you dont know much. Yes of course he has many extremely competent people working for him. But why do they work for him? Where were they when he started SpaceX? Where were they when he started investing in Tesla and later took over as CEO? I dont worship Musk. That is just a term from the religious mindset. I admire him and respect him for what he has done. No one has done that ever. You are just a simpleton numbnut that simply cannot comprehend what is being done and what he has done.
@@bjarnesegaard5701 Do you really think his Mars vision is sustainable. Yes, man will land on Mars. Mars is not Earth and people will never settle there. It is totally inhospitable and nothing but rock and sand. You have to don a spacesuit if you walk out of your smelly little capsule. The approx third gravity of Earth will wreck the human body. Solar radiation without an ozone layer will wreck the human body. This is where Musk falls down. I respect his other ventures but the amount of people who buy into his vision of being "out there amongst the stars" astounds me. To all intents and purposes Earth is "out there amongst the stars" Until they can utilise "wormholes" or suchlike mankind will never be visiting stars using rockets to travel from Earth. Musk's multiplanetary vision is a pipedream. It's impossible to land a crewed rocket on any other planet perhaps with the exception of Pluto if Pluto is still defined as a planet. Good luck with inhabiting Pluto haha. There may be a few moons of Jupiter or Saturn you could land a rocket on. Good luck inhabiting them. His SpaceX vision is all Bullsh1t
Battery fail - will take too long to charge a batter to do long distance trucking or 24 hr fleet service... battery weight is also a killer. Hydrogen is better solution for heavy duty equipment.
Does anyone know where all of these batteries are being made? I thought lordstown OH. was shut down and abandoned by GM years ago. What about the plant in Michigan?
The trading market is constantly evolving with new features, trading opportunities, financial swings with sudden surprises around every corner. The best thing is to stay in shape and don’t let anything catch you on the wrong foot.
Investing with an expert is a very good plan for a structured investment portfolio. Thats why i have been conducting my trades with ’Jessica Meador Jones’ I've learnt to be patient with stocks since most traders tend to get into a stock and get out at a quick 10%, 20% profit. But they miss out the big gains because it trades at a P/E ratio of 40-50.

@@franceslynn3257 This is great. Good for you. I have been holding back on investing in the stock market because I have little background knowledge and I don't know any credible brokers either. Do you have any ideas that could help?

it's great he is not smooth and fluent in his presentation, because all the other stuff is so perfect. Licensing autonomy is an fantastic idea. Not only will it save lives, it will also bring some extra cash to Tesla. No-one will want a car without it anymore.
You mean tenfold engineering style? There is also a chinese company called Broad group that makes stackable unfoldable houses. They built a 10 storeys building in just 28 hours.
At least CA is still pro-democracy and pro-constitution. Elon should have made the HQ move contingent upon TX repealing the law that takes away a constitutional right and all the voter suppression laws.
OMG!!! I wouldn't have realized that a couple hundred miles by a couple hundred miles of solar panels would power the United States! That is definitely heartening and positive data (despite the cost of building such a structure - however, of course, each area would only need to be a fraction of that ... spread throughout the US).
It was an interesting presentation but, in my opinion, there are missing informations about personal costs, supply chains, key products, especially for the factory in Kaliifornia. That would be very useful for the shareholders. Maybe it can be arranged in the next general meeting. Thank you!
Next for Tesla is affordable housing - I surely hope. They could buy swaths of land and provide a foothold for young families to have an affordable home. Maybe lease contracts that builds up a cash value saving for them so they can move on to a larger home and releases these properties for the next group of young families. This could be structured as a Tesla employee benefit.
What happened to hard work and working 2 jobs, like I did, to buy home and land? These millennials and gazennielles think they are "entitled" when they graduate H.S. or College to a six figure job. Uh-huh you have to work at least more than 8 hours per day ... Not 2 hrs with 6 hrs playing candy crush with your boyfriend UNLESS yo' political daddy gives you a big job where u dont actually have to work. . These kids really think they OWN something when they charge it. Really? Really? Live in reality. Save your money and stop living on credit cards....arent worth a damx thing on credit. zilch. It aint yours. It belongs to the financial institution. Earn it ethically.
It can show how He works ans how he is great, the most simple way and simple speech are in their holding meeting, and who are so Lucky to work for him non only the high salary but also the way they work together so on, 👍
It is already happening. There is an enormous amount of private capital flowing into renewable energy. The people who are funding it are the exceptionally rich, which means that they are gaining yet another way to seek rent from everybody else. You can petition your local politicians to prevent that from happening by funding it through taxes. Good luck with that.
My hopes exactly. I’ve been amassing tens of thousands of shares of TLOFF. When it finally does begin to produce, someone will buy their nickel. High grade US nickel responsibly produced. I started buying when Elon made his open call for increased production to nickel mining.
@@WILL_E_1 Tesla should just purchase Arcimoto and give Arcimoto shareholders the equivalent $ in Tesla stock. Tesla could solve all the Arcimoto pinch points. Move the project to Austin. Provide the funding, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain expertise to bring the Arcimoto products to market at scale. Then build a sister assembly plant in Shanghai to supply the Asian/Middle East market.
I would say that Elon Musk is more of a creative genius. Even though he didn’t create Tesla from the ground up, he did innovate and optimize it to bring out some great products. Very similar to Steve Jobs and what was done at Apple by hiring the right people to create amazing products and release them to the world. Elon doing the same with SpaceX. Bill Gates…not really creative, just one who found the right people to bring on board to turn vision into reality. Since Steve is no longer with us, Elon takes the slot as the Most Creative Genius in my opinion.
With choosing rare field like electric cars and space rocket. I would say elon is 10x better than steve. And elon had multiple company at same time whereas steve only apple. Tesla, space x, boring tunnel, neuralink, starlink.
@@sabagisara that is not a fair comparison. Steve even took control of Pixar. And Steve was not in the age of the internet, so it would have been difficult for him to control many companies back in the day. Moreover starlink is just a sub-brand of space-x, Elon has just invested in neuralink and is currently not doing much over there, it is a company just doing research purposes and Boring tunnel has not done anything significant. Elon himself says that these two companies are more like his hobby stuff. Yes, Elon does have more companies under his hands but because of that, all these companies are facing deadline issues while apple did all their work almost perfectly.
He 100% raised Tesla like a child. It's not like he stepped in later. He was involved from the very beginning, just not officially. This tiny technicality does not mean he didn't create Tesla from the ground up
This looks like a job for Superman... I mean, Elon. Launch hundreds of small solar powered satellites between Earth and Mars above the planetary orbital plane to make a mesh network to relay communications between the two planets, thus solving the solar conjunction problem. Call this project Breadcrumbs.
Thisul Wickramarachchi I would say yes, they started taking design applications and started hiring for the production of the 25k car. We also know for certain that Elon wants a 25k car (he mentioned it during battery day 2020)
100 percent..unfortunately could be quite sometime...they definitely will get there and then they will fit in with the whole tesla ethos... making these big and crazy fast cars are all good for tesla name and image now but in the end it will be an affordable and clean form of travel that tesla will be known for..hope lm around to see that day.
