bought my first ever watch last month... it's a 280$ Dan Henry 1962 Racing Chronograph... it came with 1 extra leather strap a leather folding bag where you can store 3 straps or 3 watches on your travels..i also paid 80$ extra for a stainless steel bracelet... i'd say it feels and looks more expencive than other watches you see in shoping centers at that price range... love it

I got a Citizen Nissan Fairlady Z watch from Nissan HQ on a business trip and I love it. It has great function super light as its Titanium and a little over 1k with duty free.

The majority of Maen's catalogue is 36-38mm, with nothing over 39mm (a bit small for me). I do like the Skymaster and the Brooklyn but please make at least a 40mm version guys!

I just bought my first ever nice watch. I went with the khaki field mechanical. It is undoubtedly the best watch for around $500. Swiss-made, mechanical, sapphire crystal, tons of legacy and heritage. Unbeatable for the money.

You can definitely get quality pieces in the $1000 and under price point. I have a Hamilton Day Date, Baltic aquascaphe, Squale Militaire ( a little over $1k), and am waiting for my Vaer A5 tactical to arrive in mail

I own several Tissots, but not the PRX. People do not realize how large and great their catalog is for under 1k, like the Gentleman, the LeLocle, and my favorite the Couturier line, they even have several COSC certified Chronographs for under 1000. Also in that category the Mido Commander and Oceanstar, and Hamilton Field and Railroad lines. Swatchgroup has some of the best budget automatic lines out there, and really good quality and classy looking.

Can you go over the Swatch history of Breguet? Seems like they had a decade or so under the first Hayek where they were pretty impressive. Even if it stole the movement from Blancpain, the Reveil du Tsar is awesome. The big date Marine and the previous generation type 20s seem to have been successful. The crazy magnetic chronometer seems to be awesome too. When/how did it go downhill to where it is today?

She even had me returned a beautiful Tissot heart automatic that I wanted to gift her. She got on with the Swatch craze and owned 3 variants. This Mother’s Day, I bought her the 38mm ladies cream dialed with ceramic bezel speedmaster which she appreciated.

Here in Vancouver, within a block and half of each other, we have Cartier, Panerai, JLC, Vacheron, Rolex, Tudor, Chopard, a couple jewelers that sell multiple brands, and Hublot. Oddly, I've never seen a customer in Hublot. 🤔
