Nico, how I wear my shirts. I always wear a long sleeve shirt with a button down collar. This was recommended to me by a friend. Unbutton you cuffs and turn them inward. Most turn their cuffs out, but then they catch on everything. That does not happen when they are turned in. It also lets you show your watch off! I have been wearing my cuffs this way for over 20 years. I am an architect and have been self employed for over 35 years. I hope this method works for you as well as it has worked for me.

@NicoLeonard: I can solve your sleeve problem with your button shirts. 1) leave it on the hanger (that's basically it - took me ages to notice even though it's so simple) 2) Open the cuff buttons 3) fold it once to the size of the cuff 3) Fold it 3 times more 4times in addition - and after every fold you straighten the sleeve with your both both index fingers. 4) Done
