WATCH | Hope in the rubble: How a faint sound led to rescue of man from collapsed George building

At about 10:10 on Saturday, amid the chaos and destruction at the site of the collapsed building in George, a faint voice pierced through the piles of concrete. Advanced medical rescue paramedic Jetreu Jacobs said he could hear something - a sign of life.
Jacobs called out to the unseen survivor and asked him to knock against the concrete slabs.

One can really feel with these rescue workers...their hearts are beautiful!❤ May the Almighty ease the plight of anyone still alive beneath the rubble! One cannot help but think of those thousands of buildings bombed in Gaza and how those families had only their hands to dig with to try rescue their families. May Almighty God bring them peace, relief and freedom, soon! ❤

My mother prayed over it one evening and as she prayed it suddenly moved back to it’s normal position and I could turn my head again. I will never stop believing in Jesus after that. He saved my life and healed me. So I truly believe God can perform miracles like how he did for this man 🙏🏽🥹
