how should the barber control his frizz? HE needs to treat his hair better and use products for his frizz. Barber did actually great

@@FreezyOHyou obviously dont have this hair type. This hair gets frizzy on matter if you use conditioner or not. Any styling product like wax or whatever just makes it frizzy and cream makes it too heavy and ruines the volume. It's really hard to get it right. What works for me is osis + bounty balm, i would recommend it to anyone with this hair.

I hate how there are NO BARBERSHOPS IN MY PLACE THAT CAN CATER TO CURLY/WAVY HAIR. I live in Asia where there are predominantly straight hair people. Every barbershop I have been to don't know how to take care of curly/wavy hair. They always try to comb it straight then get frustrated with me saying snide remarks under their breath like "why is your hair so curly". And it always hurt when they comb it aggressively to straighten it

Maybe if there's an area that's touristy/popular with foreigners/an immigrant neighborhood you could find shops that know how to cut & style curly hair ?

Like the other comments, I would recommend trying to check whether the city has areas where perhaps a lot of foreigners live and work or has a lot of tourism. In most cases you will find local or foreign shops where they perhaps have more experience with different hair textures due their foreign expertise or simply because of experience with tourism. In any case, I would highly recommend RU-vid video to cut your own hair because if you are careful and follow the process as in the YT tutorial, you will most likely be okay ( definitely get the back with the help of someone else who is to be trusted and patient because those areas are hard to do by yourself).

For real, everyone with this hair had this. It's painful man. If anyone struggles with this hair, try osis + bounty balm it did wonders for me. Try to experiment a bit, like styling with wet hair, dry or in between.

Same. I went to a barber asking to get my curls in control but he just cut them down. I now have lushes non frizzy locks of curly hair because I found a barber that actually could help with controlling it

Trust us when you tell you us curly people solute the hell of those who want to do curly hair. we tip HUGE because we know how much of a pain it is to do our hair. not to mention we get rejected so many times is the reason why we tip large.

Hairdoc is absolutely right: people want what they don't have and loads of teens are getting their straight hair permed, which I find amazing. My teen has wavy/curly hair and he's learning how to take care of it as it grows. He started with curly hair shampoo/conditioner, misting water bottle and a spritz on styling gel. Now he adds a bit of leave-in conditioner and is growing it out. But he WANTS to take care of his curls since they're all the rage in middle school, lol!

I’m Korean and Italian so I have straight hair but if I let it air dry it’s super puffed up so when it was long I tried to bring out natural waves and that didn’t really work so I cut it really short and now I just curl it with an iron
