My grandfather Rocco Doti was an architect and he designed the first Carvel Ice Cream Store in New York!

I used to eat Carvel ice cream near the Marlboro Projects in Gravesend, Brooklyn. Those were some wonderful memories. God bless Mr. Carvel; may he rest in peace.

Rip Tom Carvel miss your gravely voice. I read somewhere that his death was possiblity contributed to a poisoning. Wish there was more information about this.....

When I was a kid in the early 90s there used to be a Carvel right on the corner of Church and Nostrand Avenues right above the 2 train station in Brooklyn. That’s when my love affair for Carvel began. It’s still one of my all time favorite ice cream chains.

Living just south of Toronto .......We got Channel 7 With Irv Weinstein all the cartoons And commander tom etc... They you guys threw on Carvel ice cream commercials ....Dammit ! could not get it in Canada

Fudgie the Whale for Father’s Day. Tom Carvel suggested “Dad, our favorite fish” as an inscription. Santa Claus was the same mold. Not sure about Cookie Puss.
