Here watching after the glorious victory just a few days ago (11/27/2021). He did what he was brought here to do. It might have taken longer than we wanted. There were a lot of ups and downs since then. But he did it. And we are in a rock solid place because of him and what he has created. He has earned our respect, patience, and forgiveness. And just as he said, "it's only the beginning."
Very classy move by Jim in thanking Brady Hoke. Brady was an outstanding assistant on Lloyd Carr's teams and poured his heart and soul in to the University. He was without a doubt a great man and outstanding character whom just struggled to get results on the field as Head Coach. Regardless, he deserves praise for everything he did for Michigan.
Jim will not redeem himself until he beats the fuckeyes 5 in a row like they have done to us now. The progress doesn't mean anything if we can't clinch that victory I think we all are feeling the same by now specially after that embarrassment yesterday.
C'mon man. Osu and Msu have taken the B10 back to being a top 2 or 3 conference in cfb. The B10 is already there without Michigan. Don't take credit for it.
***** No need to be rude, bro. Michigan State has become a perennial double digit win team and they won a New Year's Day 6 Bowl against a Baylor squad that was in the top 5 the entire season. Give Michigan State credit.
@@Frederick0220 Lol this is too fucking funny in 2019 have fun with that 6-6 season you produced and let me remind you of the score this year 44-10 GO BLUE
Update since December 30, 2014 As of August 29, 2021 Jim Harbaugh with the Michigan Wolverines: Overall Record: 49-22 including 0-5 vs. the Ohio State Buckeyes and 1-4 in bowl games No CFP nor Big Ten title appearances Jed York and the San Francisco 49ers: Overall Record: 38-61 with three head coaches and two general managers including Kyle Shanahan's 2-1 clip in the 2019 NFL Season Closest to winning a title since Harbaugh left in SB 54 when they blew a 20-10 fourth quarter lead to the Kansas City Chiefs.
@@ryan422423 Yes. Michigan won the Big Ten title and made the College Football Playoff semifinals in 2021, but we're thrashed by Georgia in the Orange Bowl. Five straight bowl losses in Michigan for Jim Harbaugh.
as a 9ers fan I'm very sorry that we lost jim due to the twit owner's stupidity.....but that said, my brother is an alumni of UOFM....and I know that jim will kick butt there....good luck jim, and thank you for all the success in the past 4 years!
@@joesakic91 you are correct, and that sucks. However there’s been a lot of good as well. Just bugs me when people only focus on the bad. He’s like 55-22. He needs to beat Ohio state and make it to the big ten championship, but there has been a lot of fun and a lot of good as well. That’s all I’m saying.
I think Brady Hoke was an OK coach but he was just a bad developer of talent. Michigan had top 15 recruiting classes while Hoke was the coach but it didn't translate on the field. Harbaugh is the perfect fit because his personality will bring in the recruits and his attention to detail will give us an upper hand also. I think the biggest improvement will be at the qb position. I'm looking for Shane morris or Wilton speights to be ten times better than they were last year.
Fast forward to January 3, 2016... Jim Harbaugh led Michigan to a 10-3 record and a Citrus Bowl win while the San Francisco 49ers fired Jim Tomsula after a 5-11 season. Score after Season 1: Jim Harbaugh 1, Jed York 0
daily dose of nightmare fuel Dad The York family made another big boo-boo when it comes to running the San Francisco 49ers. Meanwhile, Michigan is getting the last laugh since Jim Harbaugh is turning the Wolverines to a national championship contender in his second year.
@@travisdisser4156 Your program is such a fraud. Once again, you had no business being in the post season and the rest of the country knew you'd get your windshield blown out. But don't worry, you'll get another top ten ranking next year because of your successes back in 20 B.C. Bonus points for your coach being "woke" and a program permeated with delusional entitlement.
@@tensecondbuickgn “success back in 20 BC” … checks notes…. They won the big ten literally this past season. And emasculated your team. Stay mad brotha. Better fix that run defense!
btw, I'm a Michigan fan and I am thrilled with this hire, but let's be realistic here folks, in a few years Harbaugh is leaving to go back to the NFL. we better hope he has some assistants waiting in the wings to take over
He addresses if this is a long-term or temporary move around the 18 minute mark. IMO nothing is a guarantee except death and taxes, and some people even get away with not paying their taxes. I have read that the kids are going to be getting to the age where they are in school and his wife doesn't want to be jumping around. They could stay for 10 years for all we know. We'll never know. Enjoy the ride, Go Blue!!!!
Im still waiting for a good reason and explanation. on why do I see Jim in the maze and blue colors. and why I see another fat rex ryan taking his spot in san fran?
Then how did Hoke manage to go 11-2 with a BCS bowl win in his 1st year? You don't do that by accident. Looks like Hoke cleaned up the mess, then proceeded to mess things up all over again.
fluffynoses Indeed. I think it's really idiotic how teams always seem to hire the polar opposite coach, too, after they fire the previous one (defensive mind --> offensive mind or loud, brash guy --> quiet, humble guy or pro-style --> spread). Nebraska just did this, going from an angry, outspoken Pelini to a quiet, "ah shucks" Riley. Michigan did this, as well, going from a pro-style Carr to an extreme spread RichRod back to a pro-style Hoke. Set the program back about a decade.
Frederick0220 yeah that was Brandon and that stupid bitch Mary Sue Coleman completely screwing up the hiring process. Harbaugh could have come in 2011 but again Brandon knew more about heading mediocre pizza than heading football. No surprise Dominos got better as soon as Brandon left...hopefully same will happen to Michigan too. I'm sick of that clown D'Antonio and all those clown fans at MSU, someone needs to knock them all down a peg or two
I find it funny that a few months after he gets hired hes already starts opening his mouth about MSU. Really? UM has barely beaten MSU over the past 10 years and all of a sudden UM is automatically better? Lmao. Im not even a B1G fan but don't talk shit about a team you haven't beaten in years or have gotten blown out by the last 2 times.
Harbaugh is a liar and deceitful. He has already lied to many recruits and those recruits are spreading the word. I'm an ACC fan but Michigan will not last very long if Harbaugh keeps ostracizing everyone including his own players.
