If she's a borderline, then yes, the ability to empathize, take blame and feel remorse isn't a part of her being but she can still feel emotions. In fact, borderlines are know for having extreme emotions. If she didn't mean or want it to happen I think she'd cry. Especially after hearing the victim impact statements. She does nothing.

I recall, very recently, that Jodi said "Longevity runs in my family, and I don't want to spend the rest of my natural life in one place, I believe death is the ultimate freedom and I'd rather have my freedom as soon as I can get it."

I haven't watched criminals give statements before but this just seems weird to me.

I don't think I have ever been so gobsmacked before. I am struggling to make sense of why she or her defence team thought this was a good idea.

Is most telling that she's admitting that SHE'S the cause of all this pain and heartbreak, but during this testimony she's not saying that Travis actions caused this forcing her to defend herself...what a crock of crap she's telling this jury...she's trying hard to convince them that SHE is one special woman who will do so much good. I'm very shocked by jury foremans interview after the first round...he referred to the victim as "that dead guy", then puts partial blame on him...proving he's smitten by this murdering sex kitten!...actually a Sucubus! In her plea she says she never meant to slander Travis' name and she was only answering her lawyer's questions. Essentially putting her slander on the shoulders of her lawyers. In the interview after her conviction she said she had photographs of Travis chasing a little boy but that her lawyers didn't feel they were relevant. Basically she contradicts herself for the one millionth and one Times.
