John Lewis is a hero, was a hero, will always be a hero with or without Trump. John Lewis risked his very life for civil rights. John Lewis dedicated his life to making this country a better place for all Americans. We don't need to desperately look for a hero while we had John Lewis, but we do now.

John Lewis will always be a hero and has left a legacy of what hero's look like. Desperate? Not a chance. Looks at the moms, dad's, grandparents and vets in Portland. Look at the everyday heroes in the halls of our hospitals, rescue teams, police stations, food banks, soup kitchens, and city streets. Look at the thousands of protesters, educators, service employees, and factory workers...the kids giving allowances and earnings, the field workers, farmers, donating farmers, and the factory owners who converted their businesses to make and, for some, give away hand sanitizer, shields etc. I could go on, but you need to understand that all of the above are American Heroes. We're more eager for American value-based leadership from the White House. John Lewis's legacy lives on. He will be missed.
