I always choose to watch Kenny kill Carver, Because he deserved everything he got after all the things he's done. But the reason i have Clementine watch is because i believe it's important for her to learn that such brutality is part of how a messed up world like that works, at least in terms of the kill or be killed thing.
@@HitManGameratemehAss Yeah and he bashed Kenny's eye in with a radio,so i guess you could say Kenny caving Carver's face in with a crowbar was poetic justice.
I know Telltale gets a lot of flak for their lame stories and choices, but damn, Kenny has to be one of the best written RPG NPC ever. A man who has lost everything, and is willing to do whatever it takes to survive. A man with a frontier sense of justice and a no B.S attitude, and a man who struggles with problems both physical and mental. But also a man with a sense of respect and honesty. If your a good person, or someone he cares for, he’d rather die then let someone hurt you. He always tries, even if he makes the worst mistakes, he never gives up.
@@dfEllis Jane: ''I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that and kill myself the way my sister whom I've constantly criticised did just because I'm pregnant and despite consistently preaching the same philosophy myself and outright manipulating Clem to think the same way.''
I do get it but again trying to kill Jane was wrong on his part when he had no right to argue with her and almost got her AJ and Clem killed while escaping to Wellington so I thought it was best to kill him and go with Jane and AJ
@@lauramarie3605 An over exaggeration, but he certainly is stubborn. But you need that person in the Apocalypse. Someone who refuses to surrender or give up. Does his stubbornness get him and his friends into trouble? Absolutely. But he never abandons his friends, even if he should, because that same stubbornness is what makes his so compassionate and caring.
carver was an amazing twd villain, but i can’t help but wonder what would happen if it were just him and clem out there. it’s pretty cool the respect that he has for clementine.
I love how what makes Kenny snap is when Carver says to Rebecca "don't act like you didn't love every second of it" pretty much saying that he raped her, and that's what made Kenny snap and kill him
I don’t think he just raped her, I think they both had some sort of feelings for each other at some point but then once carver showed his true colors it scared Rebecca away from him, and then he developed some sort of obsession with Rebecca and refused to be rejected aka why he’s so psycho for her. He probably did force himself on her a couple of times after Rebecca rejected him unfortunately
Nah, he didnt raped her. We can notice by dialogues that Rebecca cared for Carver. It was probably an affair she had with him when they were in the community
Man, no matter how many times I get to this point in the series, I always decide to pick “Stay and Watch”. Not only as it’s allowing us to see Kenny get some measure of revenge against Carver for losing his eye, but mostly because I see it as the first time in Clem’s life that she somewhat embraced her darker emotions. Emotions that in time [end of S2, most of ANF, and personally (until proven wrong in TFS) what happened at the Ranch] will almost consume her.
It's baffling that Carlos kept her so ignorant and sheltered from their new reality. Until Chuck talked sense into him, Lee was kind of sort of doing the same with Clementine.
What I like about choosing to stay is how you see Clem force herself to watch Carvers death. And before they leave, she has a brief look of shock but shakes it off. It's like she knows she'll see more shit like that so she'd better get used to it.
Fun fact: Carver was supposed to be Kenny as the main villain, but telltale changed it because kenny was loved in season 1,and they didnt wanted people who played season 1 and the other players to see Kenny as the villain. EDIT: I don't know if I've said everything right,so don't hate me please, instead explain me or tell me what ive missed and didn't said.
Well Kenny did become the villain later anyways he tried to kill Jane and drove away Mike Bonnie and Arvo after the way he bashed the poor boy and blamed him for Lukes death 😭 I knew I had to get rid of him for Clems sake 👍🏻
@@hsd287 That “poor boy” shot Clementine in the shoulder and tried to have his group kill everyone earlier because of Jane. And people call Kenny the bad guy? So dumb.
@@hsd287 Jane killed herself immediately after finding out she is pregnant leaving an 12 year old and a fucking baby all alone. While Kenny does everything in his power to keep Clem and AJ safe.
You can see when carver forced carlos to discipline her. She almost went crazy, because it's the first time she received harsh discipline. If carlos handled her upbringing right, she wouldn't be such a coward. Her brain almost stopped working after she got a taste of what the world is
@@Johsther why did I write that comment again? Probably because in mortal Kombat there aren’t any brutal victory’s so it’s either flawless victory or just “FATALITY! Kenny wins!”
I got lost in the characters when I played. My lee was always honest with her and explained the dangers of everything so she always understood what was going on. I didn't feel Clem would want to watch it. She would happily put a bullet in his head and be done with it but beyond that no real motivation of hate. He's dangerous and needs to be put down but that's all. Now had he killed Lee, she would be charging at him knife in hand stabbing in a blind rage. She actually ended up being the one to kill the stranger at the end of season 1 in my playthrough.
I prefer the outcome of Clem shooting the stranger as well. Rather than just having Lee be her savior, it's a more character building moment for Clem, shows that they look out for eachother just as much as eachother and that she is now truly capable of that dynamic in their relationship so long as they stay together. Though short-lived as that dynamic between them may have been, it was beautiful, and made the ending all the more bittersweet.
Carver knew even though Clem is only 11 yrs old, she was a lot tougher and stronger than most of those adults, a real survivor in Clem he saw, that’s why he wanted manipulate Clem to become like him
I refuse to accept that walter was even in this game. He was pathetic, too much of a coward and mr nice guy. Kenny killed him for all the harsh punishments they endured and all the malicious shit carver did
“Lambs to the slaughter” there’s a reference in a song the song name is Blood//Water but instead of “Lambs to the slaughter” it’s Lamb to the slaughter
OMG! I just realized something! The gun that Rebecca grabs off Carver is the gun AJ has later on in the series!! But I'm sure everyone already knew that and I'm just publicly displaying my stupidity Lol-
Currently just played this exact scene and had to rewatch this scene after Kenny busted his head open mainly because of the part where Kenny says to Clem, "it's going to get messy." And when Clem replied "I know." I got absolute CHILLS.
Kenny is the only person with a defining character. Everyone else had little personality to speak of. Everyone Else is so robotic in comparison. It's sad that they tried so much to make the player hate Kenny during the last couple of episodes.
@@cheriejones1801 i must ask you a question who is people like most? İts easy THEMSELFS thats why people love Lee and Clementine most we doing them we controlling them and we are them. Like New frontier people killed Conrad beacuse they didnt want betray Clementine but we doesn't look at javis perspective he's nephew is in danger and he met clem almost 2 or 3 days and clem is so cold to javi i dont think javi would kill Conrad. And one thing kenny is the far most best character in the series he is like Rick grimes who loves his family, die for his family, and kill for his family. And one thing kenny ending is cannon if you take comics cannon there is no bullet scar (Wellington ending).there is no Aj tattoo(Jane ending). And there is no missing fingers too(alone ending). There is one option its kenny!!! "Goddamn right" Kenny season 2. One thing too he lost his eye for Clementine And sarita get hurt thats fucker Luke made a mistake and try to cut kenny of loose and people thinks Luke is a angle.
I always choose to leave, I get he deserves it for everything he does but that is really not something Clementine needs to see. I mean imagine seeing that...
You would like to keep Children's innocence, but in circumstances like this, they'll have to learn the hard real shit like this. I always choose for Clementine to br strong, especially if it's her own decission. Girl need to be desensitised if she wants to survive the whole ordeal.
