I believe the governor of Louisiana is doing the right thing by posting the Ten Commandments in classrooms. I don't think it violates the separation of state and church because he's not forcing kids to read it; he's simply displaying them. As a Christian, I'm happy that he's taking this step.

As a highschool student, please DO NOT force religion onto us, we would not appreciate it. Just because you have religious beliefs doesn’t mean that you have any right to force it on kids who may or may not have the same beliefs. Yes you can spread the word of what you believe in, but don’t force it onto kid that either don’t care or aren’t interested. We should keep church separate from laws as said in our constitution.

I remember when people whined and cried about the Ten Commandments being in the courthouses and not realizing that they were there because they broke one or more of them.
