What I don't get is there are 3 branches of government for checks and balances. How's the VP so powerful that she can single handily do all of this with a 2/3 republican controlled government. The other 1 or both of the other 2 branches had to believe it was ok for any policy to pass. So don't forget no one person makes a change in government without the majority of the government agreeing to it.

He wasn't "trying to curry favor". He was pointing out that Russia got the better end of the deal due to the administration making a bad deal by conceding more than they received in return. Humiliating the biden administration is not humiliation of the country.
