How is it possible that so many people still don't realize the gravity of what Trump did? It is truly astounding that there are mass numbers of people still backing Trump. It defies common sense.

What an astonishing and highly moving display of patriotism and sheer civic duty we saw on display today, from these two extraordinary women, Ruby Freeman and Wandrea Shaye Moss. We must ensure that they do not suffer financially from what they've endured; they should be hugely commended for their sacrifice, steadfastness and receive an official honour from their country; no one should ever suffer such abuse and persecution for simply doing their job. Ladies from the UK and around the world we salute you; you are an inspiration to us all.

How strange it is to hear politicians answering questions, plainly and clearly, and while they are under oath. I like it.

I’m really sadden to hear that many Americans are not interested in listening to these hearings. They have been very interesting to listen to all of the different testimonies from some very important individuals. I’m sorry to say I voted for Trump in 2016, I thought we needed a change and a change we got and not in a good way. These hearings should be scary for every American if Mr Trump would be elected as President again. Will he and all of his cronies in the House and Senate take us so far right that we will never see the America I love so much. I’m just so very sad about all of his actions that are harming our democracy and even though they are having these hearings, will anything be done to Mr Trump? I doubt it which will let him to do something like this again? I hope not. This is just my opinion and God Bless America!

Watching this a day after the hearing. I am so impressed by Speaker Bowers’ integrity. Imagine what our country would be like if all members of Congress had such integrity and respect for the Constitution.
