PARENTS. Parents who harm their children are evil. For some reason that is not something that I personally can understand it seems like we have a degree of tolerance for and expectation of fathers hurting their children and we do not view it with the same level of repulsion and horror that we do when mothers are the ones that do these abusive acts. I can not see why that is so, but I do think we should do a better job of setting higher expectations for all parents. I think we should hold all people to a high level of expectation where children are involved. 😢

I hope she gets what’s coming to her I have my grandson who has autism and legally blind. He’s now 23, I’ve had him since he was 7 because I intervened , very similar treatment was done to him, the trauma that he has been through I can not begin to describe or understand. She has never made contact from the age of around 8.I have disowned her because of what she done because I look at him everyday and take care of him. She could have given Elijah up for adoption if she hated him so much. This was more than hate, it was pure evil. Sadly we have too many cases like this.
One of the unintended consequences of the Covid lock down was kids not being in school where teachers might be able to monitor the wellbeing of kids at risk for abuse/neglect.
The fact that the defence attorney says this is how she was taught to treat her kids is disgusting… I was abused and left when I went to my mom for help. She left me and moved away with her boyfriend. I had to figure out my life at 16 I had my kids, and all I did was treat them better than I was ever treated. My granddaughter was born autistic and every day I make sure to support my daughter to help her if she’s overwhelmed and we research everything so we know how to help our little girl, the last thing on my mind is to treat, my family the way I was treated specifically because I know what it felt like. Justice 4 Elijah❤ to all the parents that feel overwhelmed and think beating up your kid because they’re mentally ill or challenged is not the way please reach out for help or put them up for adoption if you can handle it and don’t wanna figure out how to be that parent they need
my grand is autistic too, and i drive 90 minutes three to four times a week to check on her and help her mother and stay with her for 5 hours each time. the days i am not there, i call and make sure the day went OK. i am not young and have health problems but i'll be darned if i will turn my back on an innocent child who did not ask to be born into tremendous burdens and struggles. She couldn't even start school on time due to her disabilities. My Mother lost her mother at the age of 14 and it was so traumatic for her, she is 93 now and still talks about her twisted and sad childhood, she had a mean father. God Bless you.

Never knowing what to be loved by your mother feels like, I’ve been able to love with every being in my soul 🫶🏼❣️and here we are… Two of the strongest women with the biggest 💞!!! While as young girls, we thought love wasn’t a real thing, our kids taught us IT IS REAL AND SO BEAUTIFUL 😍 .. to think, I was so scared. They are defence attorneys, so they not only get paid by the state (our tax dollars), but want to be seen as effectively representing their clients in every way. This outward show of support may perhaps lead to more clients and better paychecks.

I am in tears, I cant imagine the fear and pain this little boy felt and all was at the hands of his own Mother. Unbelievable cruelty from this thing called a mother. To imagine the suffering that little boy went through is beyond words or comprehension. I hope she reflects, every day she still breathes, on the suffering and trauma Eli endured at her hands and that of both his families will endure forever. Shame on you. I hope you will also be plagued by the words of the impact statements read to this court for the rest of your days.
So far this year, there have been at a minimum 4 babies killed by their parents or guardians. What is going on in our society? When the fire hall is in the neighborhood and they can take the child to them, why kill the child?
Total breakdown in the family. A lot of these mothers have parents on drugs. It is rare to find a family who is "close", there is no one watching, checking.
Her attorney told her to cry. Her mouth starts shivering uncontrollably. She was trying to cry and still couldn't. That was a very strange reaction to trying to cry. She's a monster!!

Their are 3 Autistic young people in my family. They are fine. One 28 year old twin works, drives and functions on his own with help from his loving parents. The other two live happily with their mother and next door to a loving grandmother. They all understand the problems they have and know when they need help. Autistic children who live in loving homes can be healthy and happy.
If anything ever happened to a loved one of mine, I would want this prosecutor on the job. This is a drawn out case with lots of details, and she's excellent. So sad that it's a fact-finding and justice mission and not a rescue one. I also want to know how much she was getting from the state for Elijah, you know that's the only reason she wanted him in the first place, and you know she kept cashing those checks. Disgusting.
I’d bet my house that his behavioural problems were due to a combination of intoxicants she ingested while pregnant with Elijah, and because of the way he was treated by her and her partner and a lack of the medical and psychological help she could have accessed for him. She didn’t access any help because she would have to explain his poor condition once in her “care”.

Neighbors saw this and Nothing was done, cps allegedly made a home visit and reported nothing unusual Our children services agencies definitely Need a huge makeover like many agencies in N.Y. But when it comes to our children My God if we can't keep them SAFE 😢 It waa a little warming to see & hear a stranger yelling that littl boy should NOT have died. Again if You see something for Gods sake something. It could be a matter of Life or Death

She had a beautiful child and tormented him. I cannot even wrap my brain around the idea of hurting any child. Let alone my own. My children’s cries hurt my heart in the most devastating way - to PROVOKE those cries? On purpose?! To harm them in ANY way? I can’t understand that. At all.

Has anyone ever had a rash, chafed like a diaper rash? Well for anything yo touch it hurts so much. Can you imagine the horrific pain he suffered when he urinated on the sores in his back or legs? I’m sure he had a UTI for holding the urine so it would not burn. Has she ever ask for potty training help? Lots of free books at the library, now a days everything is on RU-vid. I grew up with 4 sisters, so it was hard to potty train our son. But we did it. He was 3 years old, but when he got it, he got it. Don’t have kids if you don’t have one ounce of patience. If she knew her childhood was hard, why would she have children?
sad, isn't it? i called social services once when i saw a young child about 6 or 7 being beaten on his front porch and having his head smashed repeatedly into the porch floor by a woman. Social services told me that i was over-reacting and "that's how those kids are raised, it's their culture" and she said i was irrational. I told her she sounded like a burned out social worker who didn't care. She told me that i sounded like i had a problem! I can still see his head being banged repeatedly into the floor. This was 20 some odd years ago. I also know of a mother who lost custody of her 3 kids after abusing them for years....she was a drug addict and also mentally ill. It's a sad world for some little children, very sad.
