i rarely see people with this texture with hair that is past shoulder length and it’s honestly so discouraging. like when i wear braids for months my hair grows at the root but when i un braid it it’s the same lengths s before if not shorter . just genetics i guess.
Hair is always growing! But if you aren't consistent with your trims your ends will break off and cause you not to retain length. You should be trimming every 6-8 weeks. If you are over due for a trim, get one! :)
